  1. Grondal signed his contract on Friday. Newc had 6 signed in Star on Tuesday/Thursday. Coincidence?
  2. Klindt hasn't been as good since that Ricko meeting about 10 years ago. Although to be fair he was fantastic then, god knows how he ended up being a 5pt rider in PL.
  3. S Worrall Morris Rose Newman Lindgren/Kus ? ?
  4. Decent signing. Rather have a 2pter with something about them than someone happy to trundle around at the back.
  5. Might not pay itself back next season but hopefully Ellis will show some loyalty to Swindon in future and they'll have a top GB rider.
  6. It's funny all these Brits wanting to DU when all the tracks are now up north. Be interesting to see Bridger trekking to Redcar or somewhere for a team.
  7. Could always slash his asking price and ride for a reasonable sum. Fancy British Speedway making a rider do that, how the hell did they think it up between them?!
  8. Exactly that ^. Thank the Lord someone understands.
  9. Why not just hire a decent journalist who doesn't really know the inner workings of speedway? Burbidge just comes across like a work experience student who has been unwittingly thrust into the top job.
  10. SWC back to Kings Lynn next year then...
  11. Hancock proving what a fake he's always been. He's not a nice guy, he doesn't give a sh17 about his fans (those who admit it) and he's all about himself and no one else. Some world champ to cheat and then walk out on fans who see him once a year. Good riddance, counting down the day until he retires and hopefully takes that other odious Yank with him.
  12. With all the rumours about him, Garrity and other Sheff riders along with countless other incidents including today, it makes you wonder what sort of idiot Bates really is.
  13. The pole on here is definitely a WUM but he's right about Hancock. The guy is completely fake, everything about him is false. Shame Doyle didn't see it through.
  14. 2 injured riders? Stead and? Let's be fair - you, me and everyone else knows Garrity isn't injured.
  15. Well done Sheff. Got to be the side to beat moving forward now with being able to pick and choose guests. Poor Stead and Garrity missing this, get well soon both...
  16. Oh, sorry to hear that. Thankfully there is help out there for people like you: http://www.readingbear.org/
  17. I hope this doesn't affect your chances as much as having one of the PL's worst sides does.
  18. Never wanted one team to win a meeting so much. I'm sure there's genuine, reasonable Poole fans (somewhere, surely?) but the thick c*nts like the magazine seller just ruin it. Would be a shame if all the resources put into cheating were to result in the demise of Poole, such a shame...
  19. WTF? He's in a wheelchair but he's still a bellend. Why would you hate someone less because they're in a wheelchair? That's the same as hating them more for it.
  20. MY FAREWELL TO COVENTRY BEES FOR 2017 After much consideration and endless discussions with my family and my race team, I have decided to find a new challenge for the 2017 speedway season and have handed in my official transfer request to the Coventry Bees promotion which has been accepted and I have made it clear to Mick that I am happy to go on loan or a full transfer. The final home league meeting against King’s Lynn tonight will therefore mark the final appearance for me in Coventry Bees colours for the time being. I have thought long and hard about this decision and although i have loved all of my time in coventry colours, after a disappointing season for the bees and myself by my own standards I feel that now is the right time for a change and a new challenge. I decided to make this announcement today to enable me to say my goodbyes to the Coventry Bees fans, staff, promotion, management and sponsors, but to also put pay to speculation and rumours via social media outlays. I have had ten plus great years at Brandon and my testimonial and League title successes have been just a few of the highlights of my time at the club. I hope we can go out on a high with a win over King’s Lynn tonight and as always i will give it my all. Thank you for all of your support during my time as a Coventry Bee and i hope to see you all tonight ! I would certainly not rule out a return to the bees in the future, however, in the meantime i wish them well ...
