As a committed member of supporters club I need to be assured that the revenue raised is for the benefit of Panthers and not for the Chapman trinity as whole
-
The consequences of the Chapman TRIUMVIRATE are coming home to roost

Very strange. Do not believe Harris would have taken this lying down if there was not something else behind it
-
I am thinking very seriously of not renewing my season ticket and I do not necessarily feel Messrs Rathbone and Watson are at fault
-
Seems obvious to me that we been "Bustered"
-
IMO lies more lies and subterfuge ,lies and deceit seems to be the default position for those in charge of our sport. Probably they will blame Brexit and Theresa May
-
Not had any over this which is more concerning

Over to you Neil

Workington speedway folds......

Buster Chapman seems to think so -
Time British Speedway went AMATEUR

Economically that makes sense but in the real world the plummet to the abyss continues unrelenting -
As I have said before despite the tremendous cosmetic improvements to the stadium from a viewing perspective it was a much better experience in the days of Cyril Crane and the Littlechilds

After my fathers death in 1968 aged 55 we found a photograph of a speedway ride astride a machine in full leathers etc. Subsequent enquiries revealed that it was a p[icture of my father wearing the leathers and astride the bike of Wally .Kilmister. Further enquiries revealed that my father had at a young age been taken under the wing of a Tot and Bill Williams who lived at Scarle Road Wembley their son having been to mechanic of Wally Kilmister. I believe the Williams's were much involved with both Wembley Speedway and Ice Hockey and provided lodgings for many Speedway Riders and Hockey players of the time. . A long time ago now but wondered if anybody may recall them

My mother would have said "Deo Volente". My glass is never quarter full as I top it up before it gets that low.

Sorry that you bring these things up all of which are true but came to light long after his heyday. I prefer to remember those times when Split Waterman and his contemporaries brought some enjoyment to otherwise drab lives. However I agree with you re Brexit
-
Despite enigmatic responses from management I for one would appreciate some positive response before signing my cheque for season tickets. A PM would suffice!!
-
Split Waterman was a colourful character and one of those that brought relief to the gloomy days post WW2, when even the then government maintained gloom and doom by imposing an entertainment tax
-
What rumours are referred to are a mystery to most .However mushroom management being the norm in Speedway it would be nice to hear from Ged and Neil.
-
I suppose that makes sense to you ,seems rather silly to me
-
I remember vividly Split Waterman breaking the Wembley Track record in a Test Match at Wembley in the fifties
-
All are equal but some are more equal than others
-
I think most Panthers fans will be very satisfied with the signings so far. The overall result will depend on the quality of the lower order.
-
Hopefully those that left when Panthers relegated themselves will return.
-
Where I come from 7 .45 on Thursdays was always the regular Speedway time and date.
-
OMG I hope not

So there is a Father Christmas!!! Or is it Buster with the costume ,
