One wonders at the miraculous change of circumstances that now permit Cooke and Chapman to reach an understanding, when it was not possible with Panthers.
Another good meeting and performance from Panthers. KL supporter near me threatening not to go again and believes they will be bottom. Bizarre seeing Buster in full KL regalia taking over track grading duties.
I may be wrong , but it seems to me that well known Panthers supporter and luminary "Kev the Rev " has not been seen since the demise of Ged and Neil. Has anybody got any info on his absence?
Saw Steve Bast ride for most of his Wembley career, he never got close to mastering English conditions and it was a regular event to see him with other Wembley riders being shown what lines he should ride. As far as I am aware he never had his own equipment during his time here and rode the Wembley track spare
The team is what it is and somewhat weak. However they put on a great effort tonight and could well have won had it not been for mechanical problems with Tungate and Andersen.
My recollection is that Ged had records of his conversation with the deputy boss of bosses which supported Geds version of events. Subsequently the Lincolnshire man was let off by his peers as he only did and said what he did for the good of Speedway.
