I've only seen Shanes race in the National League but definitely like what I've seen. A real trier and a great entertainer. Gave the home straight fans at Lynn a Zorro type celebration after his final ride when visiting with Kent. He also comes across as a good lad who is working hard to get somewhere in the sport. Hope it works out for him.

Think that's unfair. Near the end of last season he rode really well (in fact the best I'd seen him ride for a while). 12+1 v Rye (H) and 9+3 v Kent (A) spring to mind. Plus with such a young team, he is excellent in the pits. Not everyone can be a 10 point superstar.

That's what worries me. KK seems nailed on for Poole. The only one I could think of other than Holder is Kylmakorpi. I love watching him ride at Lynn. Fantastic style on the bike. Not sure about him being an out and out number 1 though. Hopefully Niels says yes!!

That's my thinking as well. No way could we fit Iversen, King & Lambert in the same side without being stupidly weak elsewhere. Reckon that means a top three of Iversen/Holder, Lambert & Batchelor.

I'll be very surprised if the limit is still 40 with new teams coming in. Would think it would fall to something like 36-38.

Would have loved Jenkins to come to Lynn but chuffed for Mildenhall that he's chosen to stay there rather than take the likely offers from the richer clubs. I'm sure he wouldn't have been short of offers. He's definitely got something about him. Looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

Team building up and running with the signing of Taylor Hampshire. Really pleased with that. Clearly has great potential and put on a terrific performance at the NSS to finish the season. Hope to see Josh and Ryan back to continue their development. Both have come on leaps and bounds since they first started in the NL. Could see a couple of new faces in the team with Tom & Scott (possibly) retiring, and Shane recovering from a broken leg. Any news on his progress? Would have Nathan Greaves back in a heartbeat as well but sure he will be in demand across the league. Certainly did a lot of guesting for or against Belle Vue. Think Lewis Whitmore found it tough going at times. Probably a little bit to early for him in hindsight but should have learnt loads to carry into 2017. If we are without Tom, Scott & Nathan we'll need some firepower from somewhere. Guessing the team building average will be quite low considering the league will now need to accommodate Lakeside and Plymouth. Personally would love to see Connor Mountain back at Lynn and Jordan Jenkins is surely the hottest property in the league at the moment. I'm sure Mildenhall would have plenty to say about that (especially after Taylor) 1. Josh Bailey? 2. ? 3. Ryan Kinsley? 4. ? 5. Nathan Greaves/Connor Mountain? 6. Taylor Hampshire (confirmed) 7. Jon Armstrong confirmed as returning to Mildenhall for 2017 according to their Twitter account. Great start to team building for the Tigers.

Hope he does enjoy being at Lynn. I know if he wasn't, my visits would have been much less over the past two seasons. Just love watching him ride and hope he's a Star for many more seasons yet.

I said those three as they are our assets (well two are for sure, one TBC). Batch isn't so guess his parent club will have first choice though we all know riders can force there way out if they really want to. Kerr & Rose obviously come into the mix as well.

Not had chance to look at averages etc but the way things have panned out, Huckenbeck would be my first name on the team sheet. Now had a year's experience on most of the tracks and at just over 5 could prove a real trump card. I would think King & Porsing would be nailed on as well. Really hope Robert stays.

Checked the programmes from D/H 02/10, Wembley 09/10 and Leicester 15/10 and sorry to say no mention of the meeting in any of them. It doesn't even feature in the Stars fixture list on the back page of the programme.

I have the programme from the meeting but with no heat details. The meeting itself was the Eastern Grass Track Speedway Championship. Thanks SL Social media is such an easy thing to do. I know sometimes the person on the end doesn't know the answer. But you acknowledge the query with a holding tweet, say you'll find out and get back them. Just ignoring all reasonable and polite requests is just poor customer service and leaves a bad taste. I've asked for a third time. See where that gets me!!

If it comes to it though obviously that incurs costs. I know of 7 others at least in this position so might be worth grouping together. The last resort would be I would just walk away from speedway altogether. I simply refuse to give anymore of my money to people who treat fans with such contempt.

I'm not writing off the money I'm owed. Was going to go on Friday but cannot make the 15th (if it even happens). I'll get my refund one way or another.

I have the programme in my collection but the results are unfortunately incomplete. As mentioned the Smith was Don Smith. Wonder if the meeting was then abandoned and Smith declared the winner as he was unbeaten and had the fastest winning times?
