The commentary by Tatum and Louis was perfect. For me, a good commentary is one that does not destract the viewer and is there if you want to hear it. With Pearson and Millard, it is overbearing and cannot be ignored. Plenty of letters of praise to SKY. At least we can hopefully prevent the return of Millard when Pearson is back on soccer duty....

Yes, first time that's happened. I thought the draw was normally at least a week before the event so why delay to Friday? Cannot make any difference to the riders, and its not as it the 16 are not known well in advance. Pain in the butt for (lets say) 25,000 supporters who have paid £8 for an incomplete programme.

Speedwaygp.com says the attandance was 42,000. What was last years as the crowd looked more sparse this year and I would suggest at least 5,000 less ?

Well, the GPs won't be enhanced if three of those first heat winners get through (maybe Gjedde apart). Can't see Sullivan, Walasek, Ulamek being competitive in the 09 series (nor most of this line-up frankly).

But neither deserve a place next year.
