  1. Well, Bjarne has been poor this year and won't be in the 2009 series.
  2. But a year ago, Kasprzak was riding well enough to be rewarded a wild card. This year he has been awful on the international scene
  3. Should go back to 2 wildcards for every GP - let the home association pick a home rider (despite being a complete waste of space tonight!) and one other rider who is perfoming well across the domestic leagues. This would give the Holders etc, a chance whilst giving up & coming locals a taste. And a revamp of qualification is essential - this year we got Dryml (no comment), next year it could be Ferjan or Richardson :-(
  4. I guess so. In the programme, it lists Bellamy behind John Postlethwaite as "Consultant - Speedway" and at the top Rob Armstrong as "Senior Vice President IMG Motorsports"
  5. The country hates CHEATS more and the well-informed majority of the crowd understood that Nicki knew exactly what he was doing in both heats !
  6. Seating along the back straight is indeed cheaper, and you'll notice Sky makes full use of those packed areas to give the appearance that the stadium is very full. Been the same every year.
  7. Presentation definitely better this year, and loved the innovation. Great fun with different tracks for different winners or circumstances. You get my vote !
  8. Think Kasprzak should get the nod over Hampel...
  9. The most important race of the entire GP year and Millard completely screws up by saying "Pedersen (Nicki) is stuck at the back" as the riders enter the first bend, yes you've guessed it, with Nicki a mile ahead of the field. MILLARD MUST GO
  10. Awesome performance this year from Nicki. Congratulations!
  11. Could well be Leigh's last year according to Leigh himself live from the Slov GP.
  12. So buy £32 seat and walk around to the home straight.
  13. Gutted to have missed it this year but was jumping around in my lounge. The Final was easily the best GP moment since Loramski clinched the title in 2000. How were the riders brought onto the track for the parade? No sight of that in the TV coverage and each year something different...?
  14. Interesting comment about the track as I guess riders will be critical as it broke-up badly towards the end. However the best GPs at Cardiff have always been those with an unpredicatable track, so from a spectators viewpoint, Ole got it right !
  15. Here is the video clip: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/chris.bayliss1/37_13.wmv
  16. As Hans is now a fully-fledged GP rider for the rest of the season, do all his points to date count towards a final placing, or only the points he scored at Malilla as he was a wild card for the other two GPS, or none of them?
  17. In the middle of a major thunderstorm with monsoon-like quantity of rain in Poole, just 70-miles south of Reading. Hate to say it but if rain like this hits Smallmead, can't see the track recovering!
  18. Track was awful tonight, spoiled the meeting.. Also there's no point criticising Middlo - the riders have to deliver and they all had some dodgy moments - things they can only put rigt individually. Also agree Chris Louis ought to be given a chance as Stead was poor tonight.
  19. The TV coverage was NOT provided by Sky so don't blame them! Agree about the pointless replays, and thought the Polish TV coverage on Sunday was excellent. Over to Sky for the Reading coverage - hope they use a decent director!
