The enduro was last weekend ? So why so long to take it all down. It was a good day out i even managed to get some centre green pictures ;-)
-
I can't see us moving up this year i think our bid will be rejected.
-
Well Bondarenko didn't miss a match apart from when he was injured. So he wudn't miss any matches as he doesn't ride long track or on the continent
-
At the start of last season Redcar chased rather hard for Illya Bondarenko who rode for Leicester in 2011. But Illya had returned to Russia & was due to have a baby with his partner. Illya is returning to the U.K for 2013 to try & secure a team spot he has contacted Redcar to advise them of his availbility , which they have replied saying they would consider him for 2013.

I think Rye House can't look much further for a no 1 fhen a return home for Eddie Kennett. Someone who Len knows well & again will do well at home with potential away.
-
I think thats what attracts him to Leicester because it certainly isn't the track. But the fact he is 1 hour n half from Stanstead & gets dropped off & picked up so he doesn't need the 6 or 7 hour drive for a rain off.

If Leicester go Elite League would comets fans welcome Kauko Nieminen back or do you feel he has had his time at Derwent Park
-
It is fact His mechanic told me last night that Simon has signed for Rye House
-
I think it was very much a case of damned if you did the track mid season & damned if you don't. If they changed the track & the team started to lose then fans would be saying they should har waited. But then on the flip side people saw winning & close scoring matches on a boring track. Maybe time to concentrate on 2013 in whichever league WITH track changes. If those who stopped going because of the track still wish to stay away even after the track changes then that clearly isn't the reason they stopped attending.
-
If those 5 reported in the herts paper are correct then the 6th rider is Simon Lambert . Just a no1 needed now another typical len side good at home & with potential away rather then an all round solid look.
-
What annoys me about PL racing on sky last season 2 matches both the same match Ipswich vs Somerset. Why not be fair and visit other tracks that provide much better racing ( i don't mean Leicester before anyone says racing is awful there)
-
A statement was read out on behalf of Kauko Nieminen at the Leicester dinner dance on saturday stateing that IF Leicester remain in the premier league (which seems likely with no elite teams droping down) then Kauko will return to captain the lions in 2013. So it appears the rumours last week are untrue.
-
So if Leicester go Elite League next year how many of the 2012 lions will return next year ?? IMO the only person that is good enough to return in Lasse but alot depends on Peterborough his average for elite would fit quite nicely not too high but has potential to score at home espically. Although i don't think he is good enough i can see Leicester using Graversen at no7 aswell but hopefully not doubling up because that would be a waste of a double up. IF we go premier league then i would like to see a side as below (BEFORE ANYONE SAYS I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WOULD FIT ) 1.Kauko Nieminen (although at darts last night alot of people said he had signed for Sheffield) or Ben Barker 2.Henning Bager 3.Lasse Bjerre 4.Jan Graversen 5.Sam Masters 6.Simon Nielsen 7.Lewis Kerr
-
Strong rumours in Leicester that Kauko Nieminen has agreed a deal with Sheffield
-
1. your teams top rider? Lasse Bjerre 2. your teams most improved rider? Jan Graversen 3. best match witnessed? Berwick & Glasgow away or Workington home in the league. 4. worst match witnessed? Workington home in K.O Cup 5. did your team do better or worse than expected? Alot Better 6. best fans to visit your track? Berwick by a mile very vocal and a great bunch of people 7. best track( other than your own team) Workington 8. worst points of the season? Losing Simon Nielsen to a terrible crash vs Plymouth at home in the league.

Mdlrc Report __dangreenwood 2012 Champion

Riders cleared the track because there was no money at stake. EL & PL riders only stay down in the hope they can get back in the re-run so they can earn some money. -
Leicester V Workington (koc) 19/08/12

As i work away alot i don't get to follow the comings & goings at B.P seems to be someone different each week leaving. But i have just seen that Chris Popple has now been given the sack from presenting all together Is that correct or has he resigned. On the Leicester facebook so many fans that have slagged Chris off to me personally have then put sorry to see him go & that they think he is better then the new bloke. It did make me laugh because that is so 2 faced. I didn't like Chris presenting style & told him to his face. -
What Is Going On At Leicester ?
lionking replied to djp45's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Lets be honest it was hardly a sun break on saturday i think we had the interval 1 race earlier because the sun had come out. I would call Somerset match a sun break & the newcastle match the interval which was the same length as normal interval after heat 11 -
what a fine meeting this was full credit to all the young lads who gave it a real go in really cold conditions. Glad to hear the lads who had very bad crashes at Leicester are reletivly ok (for speedway crashes ) The crash on the 4th corner was just terrible worst i have seen at BP . Shame the presenter on the centre green gave up on the meeting half way through the meeting & just didn't speak again only to reappear to take the limelight of the presentaions to the winners.

My point for calling him judas was the way he left Instead of saying he no longer wanted to ride for Leicester & that he wanted to move to another club he told everyone at Leicester that he was home sick that he had saved enough money & had booked a flight back to OZ. When the truth was the only flight he had booked was to Glasgow international So i stand by my comment that he is a coward & i'm sure alot of other Leicester supporters will agree that he is seen as Judas at Leicester he got a very hostile reception when he returned to ride for Glasgow .
-
Judas (Richard Sweetman) wasn't home sick last season that was all just an excuse because he wanted to leave Leicester. He got exposed last year as not upto the grade.
-
I am not bitter just giving my honest oppionion he is a brit so i want to see him do well but i just fear that he is going to go off the rails. Leicester fans watched him week in week out run out of space on a track as wide & as big as Leicester. He is 100% certain to fall off at least once a match.
-
You guys have got Adam Lowe too haven't you ?? massive risk because he is coming back from a nasty injury & he has been been the bravest of riders even at the best of times. I hope it doesn't effect his confidence
-
Sorry abit late with this but what is happening with Plymouth ??? have they got 7 riders yet & if so who are they
-
I had to laugh at the BSPA website when it said that Chris Neath is going to take Jason Garrity under his wing. Chris Neath comes across as a little timid and will not be able to handle JG or his pit crew of aboput 7 people who expect free entry every week. JG is a ticking bomb that is waiting to explode. He has already seriously injured someone (John Oliver) because of his inability to handle bikes any faster then national league level. Round Rye House on faster equipment that boy will be lethal i predict that the track staff will be very busy this season rebuilding the fence when he has gone through it.
