why were these meetings so tetchy. I've got a tigers v invaders meeting from '96 and on the pre-meeting interviews they're talking about a fight between johnno and a blackie who I believe was david Blackburn from the meeting the previous night between the two sides. just my luck to have the only meeting between these two that nothing happened, the only two riders to fall did so on their own

I don't know whether it was just because we've been spoilt by the last 2 weeks of tv speedway or I just wasn't in the mood but I thought it was very poor. the only high points being pearson winding up tatum and the crazy young pole. even the cameras were having trouble following the first few races. another black night for the elite league.

no it isn't you. I don't know where the extra speedway is, the two a week meetings are only going to make up for the 2 x 3week gaps that we have already had.
