i thought i had read in the s/star that ethan spiller wasn't 15 till next summer so it would take a rule change or special dispensation for him to ride at the start of next season but if i've read his date of birth right (5/10/00) he celebrated his 15th birthday 2 days ago.

you are right of course but it can go both ways. rent to a landlord can be crippling, once the stadium is yours the running costs are much lower and everything you take in is yours. also your future is in your own hands and not at the whim of a dog track,football club or whatever. from my own experience the wasps have been lost to the sport not once but both times for this reason and there's plenty of others who would still be here if they had owned their own stadium.

to all of you on here that never miss a chance to bring out the usual drivel about 'trick track' and 'track doctoring' to explain your teams lack of sucess, you're missing two things. arlington is no more of a 'trick' track than lakeside, plymouth , buxton . the reason that we have beaten every single team in every single competition on a home and away basis is that we have lost by so little away from arlington. perhaps you'd have a better chance if your track men were to stop 'doctoring' your tracks to suit eastbourne ?

seen as we're having a p***ing contest i've got a 420 mile round trip which now takes 9 hrs instead of 8 hrs because of the sunday night traffic on the M25 and i moan about everything , UP THE EAGLES !!!!!!!!

i see this meeting has been announced on the website as the night before the trophy final . thats a busy weekend for all concerned and could be a glittery one with a bit of luck.

if that is the case it's not quite as good as i thought but it is 100 % better than just their promise.
