Poole vs Kings Lynn 12/09/19
hyabb17 replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It was Poole’s so called sponsor “Skidder1” who justified Wells injury & missing both Poole’s meetings this week. I’m going to say that this will be the excuse “he’s had 4 days rest so his shoulder is improved enough allowing his to race Friday, 24hrs after Thursday” Speedway is alway the winner I suppose. -

He’ll probably have his reoccurring shoulder injury for Poole’s next two meetings. -

I have a question....Why isn’t Wells riding tonight when he’s been declared fit for Edinburgh tomorrow night....Where’s my friend who was questioning my comment about Wells fit enough to race extra meetings. Poole on the fiddle again. -

I wonder if Wirtzfeld for Lambert makes KL stronger.....Probably in someone's eyes it will -

Terry Russell always referred to the work being done by “‘my contractors” & as thcoomdog said previously I’m also sure I have read/seen him say he spent £50k on the reshape of the track. -
I don’t disagree with any of the above. I would like more home matches but only against a team once. Racing a team twice doesn’t help with crowds IMO

I don’t think it’s a bad idea for the matches to on separate days. Much better than double header meetings which take so long to run & become disjointed.

Worry about your own team love. I hope Wells makes a miraculous recovery in time for the play offs. -

Think that was after Claus was banned for a week. The previous two home matches he’s scored well. Different rider. Let’s see who comes out on top if they face each other in the play offs. I know you have an infatuation with Swindon so no doubt you will be keeping your eye on our results. -

I understand that. Why say venues tho? The only thing I can think of is that Poole/Wolves have said we’re race Monday (home legs) & Swindon & Ippo Thursday (away legs) -

Appreciate Wells had a knock before signing for Poole but that hasn’t stopped him from taking guest bookings etc. When you have your own fans morning about him & then suggest “he steps aside” you can see how dodgy it looks. -
Poole v Wolverhampton. Prem. 5th September 2019.

So withholding his services & therefore would get a 28 ban. Wouldn’t this mean he couldn’t race for Edinburgh?! -

As much as that might be true, Wolves were down to 5. Poole still had a 7 man team. -

Tac sub now being played I see. Interesting how it comes around every so often for a home team. Did you celebrate the 5-1?! Admit it, you did! -
Big decisions in November.

I would like the following: - - An 11/12 team premiership, 1 home & 1 away fixture. Fed up of seeing the same team twice in a season. Doesn't happen in any other league. - 1 Brit U21 rider at reserve. Bring these boys on, we have some very talented youngsters coming through. Give them a platform to preform on. - 42.5 team limit, don't reduce this down & we should be looking to encourage riders back, not restrict this. JD said in the Swindon programme last Thursday that Sweden is on the decline & it's time for the Uk to take advantage. - Limit the number of team changes per season/or changes can only be made because of injury. Too many sides made changes for the sake of it. - Do away with the TV deal & perhaps follow what the football league does with ifollow. Stream meetings at a cost on the clubs website. £10-£15 per meeting. I think most would pay £10 to watch their team away from home. Could you geo block it so that you can only watch away meeting's & therefore still keep the crowds coming through the turnstiles for home meetings. -
