Does anyone know if there are League tables anywhere on the net going back to the 70s? Hubby and I are in dispute as to which decade Lynn were the worst, the 70s or the 90s?

Just seen the new Millenium Centre in Cardiff Bay on the news and they mentioned that Miss Saigon was being staged there in the new year. Can anyone keep us posted about shows at the Centre on GP weekend please, hopefully Miss Saigon may still be running in June .

Could it be that very early in the GP season Mark realised he would not be in the top 8 and be out of the circus after this year and decided not to throw money at his machinery for little reward. Mark has always struck me as pretty level headed, he isn't going to get a wild card so why should he spend a fortune to benefit BSI? I think there are a few other riders doing the same hence the gap between the top 8-12 riders and the rest. Just my theory but it makes sense to me

splatty there are just two words to say in reply to the above DINGLY DANGLIES Simplistic I know but when the authorities tacitly allow riders to "throw" races within the rules, and they do let's face it, the same authorities really don't have a leg to stand on when a rider does it in any other meeting. Please note I am not saying Andersen did or did not throw that race.

I've not always been Middlo's greatest fan, I'm of the opinion that at least one youngster should have been given a go last year for instance, but how anyone can knock him after this years performances beats me. You could see before Heat 25 how much it all meant to him. How many times did a Brit say "we mustn't drop silly points" Middlo had drummed it into them At the end the tension, emotion and everything really got to him and my heart went out to him when that silly insensitive Sophie Blake insisted on sticking the mic in his face when he clearly just wanted to go. He had given an interview and politely tried to withdraw, anyone with any humanity would have said fine, thank you and left it at that.

From what I've read most fans who were actually there didn't notice anything amiss so it would seem very unlikely that a journalist sent to cover the final would notice anything either. On the other hand most papers nowadays prefer to leave their headlines for non-sporting events in sport so maybe Andersen did speedway a favour

Best TV meeting ever by far. Why the extra long advert break after the Max/Johnno incident tho? was the race actually re-run cos it cannot be declared? A minor point I know but it was bloody annoying at the time
