I know you think Belle Vue are the be all and end all but can I point out it was not the opening home meeting, that honour (and probably their only one this season) went to Lakeside. I'm with Mimmo, rather see good racing than win trophies but I accept others don't agree. incidentally Lynn had decades of not winning not just a paltry eight years

The whole deal is detrimental to the sport. I could go to Lynn tonight to see Belle Vue, I won't because the cold is not good news health wise but as it's likely to be a decent meeting I'd be more than happy to pay to watch it online. Pretty sure a fair few BV fans would too. I can't be the only one so Lynn and others I'm sure are missing out on additional revenue.

He's doing nothing for Glasgow who by all accounts are doing a massively good job And He's doing nothing for Scunthorpe , but what has Scunthorpe ever done for him! As Rosco has already stated that any rider who doesn't do the training camp next year wont be picked maybe he'll grow some balls and say if you don't do the British Final you don't ride for Team GB. Firstly I'm not your dear, darling and secondly did I name Rosco....NO. I cannot see Poole doing the same thing and AFAIK Middlo is not a full time speedway manager. If speedway want to be regarded as a credible professional sport it needs to act like one and crap like this has to be avoided.

No. Been raining off & on all afternoon. Nothing worse than standing on terraces even in light drizzle, wondering if it will ge past 10 heats when all parties are happy to rearrange tomorrow when no rain is forecast

He was a sweety pie and very polite, I got more hassle from the staff when I tried to get to the office He simply asked if I could wait around for a while so he could attend to riders/staff etc. which I was happy to do. Whilst he was still around I never worried about the weather when travelling to BV matches.

Home only mate, no way am I venturing near the M25 and M11 on a Bank Holiday. That's the diplomatic answer in case any Lakeside fans are reading

I've been offered refunds (well strictly speaking I asked and was given) at several away tracks. The most surprising, and I think Trees was with me, was at Belle Vue in the days of John Perrin, despite BV and Lynn fans telling me I had no chance. I guess it depends how and when you ask. I am surprised about Matt Ford tho, I always thought of him as one of the promoters who treated fans well.

Hopefully it will make it easier for you to get a lift Bryn You never know I might even put in a guest appearance
