Birds And The Bees (ok. Bees V Robins)
mdmc82 replied to full-throttle's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If the weather forecast is correct then they will need boats rather than bikes 😞 -
Surprised it was this close as thought this Swindon team would have won by alot more than 6. Zagar was shocking again
-
Zagar is really letting Belle Vue down

Leicester V Coventry 9th May 2015

With the way Leicester have been riding, I would think using guests would give them more of a chance of winning than using their own team -

Heavy rain due from 2pm onwards. Hopefully the weather forecast will change. -
Think this will be a 4pt away win Lakeside are really struggling for form at the moment.
-
Think this will be a home win as Swindon's team all ride the Abbey well. Going to predict 52-38
-
That's strange. Would be very surprised if Tai wasn't in it as he had been asking to take part in it for a while now. Does anybody have any idea when the full line up for this meeting will be announced as its only a couple of days away?

Credit to Davey Watt for showing dedication to Poole tonight and still racing. It can't have been easy after receiving the sad news that his Grandmother had passed away.
-
I think on paper Wolves look strongest at reserve but Poole's top 5 look stronger. Anything can happen but I think it has always been a bit of a concern for Wolves when their team depends so much on the form/availability of one rider.

Leicester V Coventry 9th May 2015

Any of the 4 suggested would be good. Is Batchelor not riding in the best pairs? I agree if it was Leicester's own team but will depend on the guests. -
Coventry will be without Hans Andersen Leicester will be without Auty, Walasek (possibly Mikkel and Pedersen if in Danish Championships) Shame the date couldn't have been changed for this.

He recently guested for them and top scored. Said he would guest for them anytime -

I think some Robins fans are very disrespectful when it comes to Han's. He is a professional rider who is struggling at the moment. Next you will tell us that he has a lion on the other sleeve as scored just as well for Leicester. I guess we should be flattered other teams would prefer our no1 to their own I can see Swindon taking something from this meeting based on the abilities of their own riders (unless it's wet 😄) -
With the Swedish meeting being rained off today and rearranged for tomorrow, Will Wolves or Smederna get priority over PK? Yes. With Harris he will always give it 100% when guesting.

Somerset are not racing this Friday so Charles Wright will be riding for Swindon. Here's hoping Garrity's girlfriend doesn't go into labour then as we would be really stuck if all riders already elsewhere on draft. Lewis Rose has always been good at Brandon. Not sure about Charles Wright. -
Can only see a comfortable home win for King's Lynn
-
With Poole now without two key riders in Newman and Magic, Wolves now have a very good chance of winning this meeting. Think it will be close.

IF both teams are at full strength then I think this meeting could go either way. I think Swindon will be the toughest team we face at Brandon as have a team of either ex bees or riders who are good at Brandon. -
Kyle Newman is out with an elbow injury so will be replaced by Charles Wright for this meeting. Chris Harris guests in place of Janowski.
