  1. I think the most concerning thing here is the fact Ward was knowingly going to race knowing how much he had drank the night before. It's sad that after the terrible loss of Rico and some of the horrible injuries riders have had, one of their peers was willing to go out and race over the limit with no regards for their safety. Those saying its people being anti Poole really don't see the bigger picture. If Ward had come out in a heat against Holder and caused a terrible accident, would you still be defending him? I don't think it matters which team you support.
  2. I agree. However Musielak is struggling as a heat leader so I think the point being made by myself and others is Garrity would be likely to still score more than he would have. I think R/R is still a stronger option.
  3. @Chris_Holder23: Hoping for a better track tomorrow 😁😁😁 This was posted not long ago. I haven't seen any other riders comment like this on it. Is the track bad or is Holder getting his excuses in early.
  4. It's always somebody else's fault with Ward. Until he can take responsibility for his action, he will keep messing up. I wouldn't be surprised if he's in trouble again by the end of the year.
  5. He rode like a heat leader last year in the British Final. He beat Woffy on his own track.
  6. Good luck Coventry Storm. I think 14 points should be enough for Kent to progress. Coventry Storm rely a lot on Greenwood & Ritchings at the moment so with Dan missing and Crang riding with the flu, I think Kent may even take the win tonight. The crowds were good last year although a lot smaller than Bees. I think they are even lower when riders missing or the bees have a couple of meetings around the same time as people tend to save money for them instead. Some great racing in the NL though. Enjoyed last season.
  7. No disrespect to Lakeside but they are shocking away from home so far this season. He Scored 4,4,3 in the other home meetings so still don't think him being missing weakens the team.
  8. Musielak was only scoring 4 at home so most guests should be able to score near to that at Wolves. However Adams would be mad to not take advantage of a change to strengthen for this meeting and use r/r or a guest known for riding the track well (unlike Howarth & King's Lynn)
  9. It looks like Lindgren had a good meeting but then Karlsson had a poor night so no benefit from it. Howarth was a strange choice of guest as he has always struggled away to king's Lynn. Great to see Bjerre having a much better meeting.
  10. Is this a rearranged fixture? If so With EL fixtures the same day and the Swedish meeting rearranged, which teams gets priority over riders?
  11. Surely Howarth will be a definite no for the event 1 of the SWC. Has poor record at King's Lynn and his score there again tonight so far is 0,0,0
  12. When was this thumping at home for Coventry? I have seen them lose by 7 at home but not any large loss
  13. I think Howarth would be one of the last riders I would pick for King's Lynn as struggles there. We have a squad of 10 but after Tai, Harris & Lambert, I would still struggle to pick a 4th rider strong enough. Possibly King
  14. Imo even with two full teams I would have predicted a home win.
  15. Surprised Worrall has made the team a head of Garrity
  16. I think on paper this looks like a home win for Glasgow. Hope Coventry's Sarjeant, Garrity, Crang (and summers) all have a good meeting
  17. Charles Wright suffered swelling to his hand following the heavy crash with Steve Worrall in heat nine, and is set to get the injury checked out tomorrow.
  18. Great win and fight back by Belle Vue to take the win. Sounds like both teams rode really well though. It's a shame this meeting wasn't on sky tonight
  19. Means Harris will also be missing for Coventry 😞
  20. Thanks. Just wondered as if both Hans & JK qualify it would have meant no guest facility for either which would have been a nightmare.
  21. With the SEC compitition, do the riders have practice the day before?
  22. With talk of Rye House interested in join EL that could make 8. However why all the talk about Lakeside dropping out of the league when nothing has been suggested by the club. Worry more when it has or when your stadium is planning on being made in to flats like ours 😔
