  1. Not overly fussed about L Bjerre. Seriously hope the rumoured final riders of Kerr and Sarjeant isn't true as otherwise we are just building cheaply rather than competitively. Both have gone backwards over the last couple of years and that was at reserve. Bates would move in to the main team after 1 month and we would be weak again at reserve. We need a stronger rider like JK or Rory. Very weak top 5 otherwise
  2. Really glad Bates is back. That leaves 27.19 for the 4 remaining riders. Hoping for Garrity and then Rory or Kylmakorpi to join them. (Fingers crossed Kerr, Sarjeant & L Bjerre aren't 3 of them. Only need 1 of them)
  3. Sheffield have said Bates will ride for Coventry next year
  4. He's just at the motorcycle show helping promote speedway. Robson was there as well over the weekend. Would prefer Hansen over Kerr or Sarjeant
  5. 👍🏻 Sarjeant only averaged 3 most of last year and doesn't seem to have improved. I think he would be a risk on almost a 6 average. I think a change might benefit him
  6. The way it says on the website about Bjerre challenging King for the number 1 spot, I don't think we will see any riders above Danny's average which rules out Kaspazak and Fricke
  7. Our Coventry team was terrible last year and you still didn't manage to do the double over us. You lost both away meetings 😉
  8. It did. The rumoured team is Danny King K Bjerre Jason Garrity L Bjerre Lewis Kerr Josh Bates James Sarjeant If true then nothing was learnt last year and we will be a team of mainly reserves again. Would prefer something like this. King K Bjerre Garrity Schlein Palm Toft Bates Ayres
  9. He's your asset so would be silly not to use him.
  10. Would imagine after how good he was last year that Poole will recall him this year
  11. Kaspazak is going back to Poole and Rory signed elsewhere apparently.
  12. Would take Robbo over Kerr & L Bjerre anyday
  13. That wouldn't be much better than our predicted one.
  14. I agree. King has always made it clear that he wants to ride for Coventry even when with Birmingham so why would King's Lynn buy a rider they know wouldn't want to ride for them. That would be a waste of money. It's not been officially announced anywhere either
  15. I think he may have meant it as a compliment. If our rumoured team is true then Rye House's is much better.
  16. You said he had signed for King's Lynn next year. It doesn't matter who owes his contract, a rider will ride where he likes. Look at Harris http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3787
  17. Exactly. I like both but much better out there esp when one would be in the main team. Just looking at Rye House as only team with a complete top 5 so far. Nicholls, Harris, Watt, Robson, Kennett King, K Bjerre, Garrity, Kerr, L Bjerre 🙈
  18. I think you need a different source 😉 Signed but For Coventry.
  19. I agree. The rumoured team is King, L Bjerre, K Bjerre, Garrity, Kerr, Bates, Sarjeant which would be weak. But the team you have suggested above would be good. Kylmakorpi has said he doesn't know if he's riding in UK yet as no contact. I personally would have preferred him
  20. Happy with Danny King. Never really a doubt to me that he would sign. Not so much with Bjerre. He's a rider I've found dull to watch esp after the excitement we have had of watching Harris & Garrity. He struggles under pressure as we have often seen. Looks like the rumoured team could be true then. 😕 KK definitely looks like he's on his way to Poole then. We can't have signed Rory as he would have been announced as signed for somebody a few weeks ago.
  21. I think it's most likely the stand at the motorcycle live show which is set up for today. It's to promote Coventry bees and has a large photo of Lynch & King. Danny King is there promoting it so seems strange promoting a club you don't ride for and being their main rider on the Coventry posters
