  1. I'm a big fan of bombers but if he's in pain due to injuries then it's not really fair to accept guest bookings. I understand that he doesn't have other meeting but it's not much help to king's Lynn. He should rest up
  2. That's a good point. If you are there, then why are you spending so much time on here? I never come on here during a live meeting (are you sure you are there 😉)
  3. Maybe he didn't want to waste money on this rubbish 😉 Too many guests and one sided racing as expected
  4. Personally I think Tungate would have been better as in better form. Max Fricke is miles ahead of Brady Good to see Holder has recovered now he's at a track he can ride 😉 This King's Lynn team is a premier league team, With the exception of Harris & Batchelor (who rides like PL) Love the way sky are getting excited about Ellis & Pedersen beating Branford 😂 Don't envy Pearson & Tatum
  5. I have to agree. Tungate and Masters have been in much better form. Brady is on the same average as Pooles reserve and hasn't really done anything special this year
  6. He's also an injury doubt for tomorrow's meeting and that's not at Glasgow
  7. I can see this being so one sided. King's Lynn even have a guest manager. As for the bake off, I have no interest in Mary or her soggy bottoms 😜
  8. BEES PLAN DEVILS SUPPORT Wednesday September 07, 2016 COVENTRY promoter Mick Horton has given his support to Plymouth following vandalism at the St Boniface Arena this week. The Devils still plan to race their remaining home fixtures despite substantial air-fence damage, with Ipswich having already assisted with replacement equipment. Horton plans to hold a collection at the final Bees meeting of the season at Brandon in order to help out a fellow club. He said: "I would call on all speedway clubs up and down the country to rally and do the same to help Plymouth. "I've always thought speedway is a big family and now is the time the family should come together."

  10. Will Garrity be fit to ride in this meeting as he's currently out with a hand injury
  11. STORM CONCERNS Wednesday September 07, 2016 COVENTRY promoter Mick Horton has stressed the clubs National League team needs to receive increased support in order to survive - as they prepare for Friday's double-header at Brandon. The City Gearboxes Storm have been top-four finishers in the last two years, although results in 2016 have not lived up to pre-season expectations. Attendances for Elite League matches at Brandon remain healthy but Horton says the National League crowds are currently not high enough to continue at that level. He underlines that the Storm is about trying to bring on the next generation of riders rather than being a money-maker but it does need to pay its way. Horton said: This is personal for me, because it does mean a lot to me to run the kids. I want to run at this level, but at the moment the support just isnt there for it. This isnt about making money, but as it stands at this stage its plain for everyone to see that the club loses money from the National League. We may not win the National League at all times and certainly this year hasnt been the best, but its so important that we have the support. We have a double-header on Friday with 30 heats for the price of one Elite League match, which I think is tremendous value, and Id urge people to support it. Its not a case of begging because we have great support for the senior team, but I do know we have people who believe in the kids, and we just need their friends to come along as well! The Storm face the Isle of Wight and Kent in a double-header on Friday, which starts at 7pm with admission £17 for adults and all children free. Prior to that, they visit Swindon in a challenge match on Thursday where they will face a Sprockets team. Mitchell Davey misses the meeting as he recovers from an accident at work last weekend, in the hope that he will be fit for Friday. Tom Bacon guests for the injured Dan Greenwood, and Henry Atkins gets an opportunity at reserve with Jamie Halder unavailable. SWINDON SPROCKETS (from): Danny Ayres, Luke Clifton, Ben Hopwood, Darryl Ritchings, Lee Smart, Nathan Stoneman, Danno Verge. CITY GEARBOXES STORM (from): Henry Atkins, Tom Bacon, Liam Carr, Mitchell Davey R/R, Conor Dwyer, Ryan Terry-Daley, Callum Walker. I personally attended nearly every meeting in 2014 & 2015. However I have only been to 3 this year as the team that has been put together this year is very poor and lacks any excitement. It's okay asking fans to go along but realistically the management have to give us something worth paying £12 to watch. I think a new team manager is needed. Whilst other PL teams are signing up and coming riders or ones that are exciting to watch, we either sign ones who have been around years or are not ready yet and struggle. Nobody will pay to watch an under strength team who underperform at home. They need to start from scratch next year if they run. I would keep Knuckey and Dwyer or Hadler at reserve and build around them. Ellis Perks would be a good addition to the team.
  12. Will be Garrity be fit for this as he's currently out with a hand injury?
  13. I agree. King's Lynn are heavily depleted with poorer guests whilst Poole have out of form riders replaced by riders in form. Poole should be looking to hit 60 tonight. I'm not sure how sky are going to make it sound or look exciting. Think I would give it a miss if not for Harris
  14. is Iversen available for this meeting. Will Holder be missing the GP this week then if out for Poole
  15. I really like Kenni but how has his form been since his tragic accident? Has he been riding? I would be happy with him in bees colours but not instead of Harris, King, KK or maybe Kylmakorpi
  16. He also scored 3 on his visit this year. A good performance from a patched up team away again. Nicholls was your top scorer and performed better than the out of form Hans. However Wolves were also weakened by Tai being withdrawn with a wrist injury whilst already struggling with a groin injury. I think we all know he is likely to score a lot more than 4. Lindgren has to be a worry at the moment for Wolves as his scores from the last 4 home meetings have been 6,4,7,5. They will need him scoring double figures. I think this year's play off is very open. Can see any of the 3 teams winning it. I just hope it's done fairly 😉
  17. Holder scored 3 on his last visit and 3 on the visit before that so he may have scored near to what RR got. Nicholls scored 11 that is more than the out of form Hans would have
  18. Wrist injury for Tai. That's the reason he was replaced by Howarth. Bad news for Wolves
  19. Another poor performance so far by Lindgren. Only 0,1 so far
  20. Exactly. Poole are better away from home with guests. It's at home it may weaken them unless they continue to get good guests like Tungate
  21. That's not very good. No wonder why we struggle to sign riders. Although saying that I can't imagine KK is cheap
  22. He only scored 3 from 5 rides on his visit before that as well so thinking it would be closer to 3 as they are his last 2 scores
  23. Holder scored 0,3,0,0 on his visit to Wolves this year and 3 from 5 rides on the visit before that so a guest is likely to make them stronger anyway as long as they score 3 or above.
  24. Tbf Poole are better away when their own riders are missing on current form. Look at their visit to Lakeside 😉
