Garrity aggravated his hand injury riding for Coventry on Friday when he banged it against the fence. -

Have to feel for Poole. Two out of form riders now injured. They will struggle now without Buzz usual 5 from 5 rides 😂 Lucky for them that they can use the in form Tungate on Wednesday. Brings back memories of the out of form North suddenly being missing last year Good luck Wolves 👍🏻 -

Did Garrity aggravate his hand injury during this meeting? He's out of Sheffield's meeting today through injury but I don't remember reading that he had crashed Friday? -
I can't believe he's still only a 6 average after all the years he's been in the PL. He seems to have come to a stand still. Yes if they did use PL averages he would be near the bottom of the list as riders like Starke, Wright,Auty, Worrall and Howarth have higher ones. Steve worrall's is now 8.98 which is impressive. I imagine like Garrity who has a 8.43 average, Worrall may be too good to be on the draft list next year and instead make the move in to the top 5. They both have higher PL averages than R Lambert, Barker, Robson & Stead so would mean having to add those otherwise

So Who Is Going To Win The El In 2016?
mdmc82 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think Wolves could be the dark horses of the competition. They haven't yet all fired at the same time and yet still been strong at home. If they can get Freddie & Howarth scoring well, then they could do it. I don't see Swindon or Lakeside with any chance. Think they will just be making up the numbers. -

Saturday September 03, 2016 COVENTRY captain Chris Harris thankfully avoided any broken bones in his crash at Belle Vue on Friday. Harris was forced to withdraw from the meeting after his Heat 11 clash with the Aces Steve Worrall, and he was taken to A&E for X-rays with concerns over rib damage. Fortunately nothing is broken and he has escaped with severe bruising and tissue damage, along with cuts and grazes although he also saw another brand-new bike wrecked in the accident. With the next Grand Prix in Germany next weekend and two more matches for the Buildbase Bees this season at Wolves on September 12 and at home to Kings Lynn on September 16 Harris is hopeful of making a speedy resumption to racing. This was taken from Coventry's website last night but not heard or seen anything else since. "Bomber's ribs on the hand side are still hurting from the crash at Coventry, and the one in the Grand Prix, and now hes done the ribs on his right side. Hes gone to hospital for an x-ray because if youve broken ribs it can be really sharp and youve got all of the internal organs there, so its definitely best to go to hospital and get it checked out. -

I think he's really progressed in the 2nd half of the season, more so at home which is great to see. I think the EDR system has worked better for some than others. I think last year's success story was Garrity who has since held his own in the top 5 all season and upped his average. I think riders should only be able to be in it a couple of years and then leave the list and step up to the top 5 as he has done. I personally think this year's success story has been Steve Worrall. He has been brilliant to watch at reserve but also copes well in the top 5. Good progression from Bates & Ellis as well this season. Howarth has been the one who has surprised me as I thought he would be cleaning up at reserve and that he would be too good for the draft but he's really struggled. -

Well done Belle Vue on the win. Another very impressive score for Jacobs Yes we went down to 5 riders but to honest it was more like just King & Garrity as it sounds like Woryna, Matt & Sarjeant were completely out of their depth. 25 of our 34 points were scored by just King & Jason I hope Harris is okay after his crash. Belle head back to the top of the table -

Can those there confirmed how the track is? Lots of posts from both sets of fans on Twitter saying there is only one line an inch from the fence. Saying they have just tried to sort track by dumping lots of shale on it but didn't know what to do with it then. Big crash once racing started again. Ambulance on track for Bomber ☹️ -

Got within 8 points on our earlier visit and that was when we were in bad form and against a full Aces team. However with no Bates or KK there's no chance tonight. Bates was out last time we went there. Josh was sick a couple of weeks ago when we went to Lakeside as well. Oh well, at least it means Belle Vue will definitely get the points needed to help them stay top of the table so I'm not too bothered 👍🏻 -

Think Belle Vue will win this. Kaspazak rides the track well and will be a loss. Would like us to get something from this although unlikely, although if we don't at least it will help towards Belle Vue finishing top -

BELLE VUE v BEES, PREVIEW Thursday September 01, 2016 COVENTRY race their penultimate away fixture of the season on Friday as they make the trip to Elite League leaders Belle Vue (7.30pm). The Buildbase Bees had a phenomenal recent record at the Aces former Kirkmanshulme Lane home, but lost out 42-50 in a highly entertaining first visit to the National Speedway Stadium at the end of May. Since then, the Manchester club have gone on to book their play-off place with the Bees missing out on the top four, largely due to their home defeats in the first half of the season and being unable to convert winning positions in a couple of away matches. They now have three top-flight fixtures remaining in 2016, with the trip to Belle Vue followed up by a re-arranged visit to Wolverhampton on September 12 and a home clash with Kings Lynn on September 16. No.1 Krzysztof Kasprzak misses the Belle Vue match as he will be attempting to book his 2017 Grand Prix place via the GP Challenge in Sweden on Saturday. Bees are entitled to a facility on this occasion for the FIM World Championship event, and will utilise the rider replacement facility. Danny King won the British Final at Belle Vue in June and earned a World Cup silver medal with GB at the same venue later in the season, and boss Gary Havelock is also delighted with the form being shown by Jason Garrity and Josh Bates of late. Havelock said: The way Josh is going at the moment, I feel he could hold down a place in the top five of most sides, and Jason is really flying at the moment as well. He was a massive miss during those four or five weeks when he was injured, and I think with him in the team we would have picked up a few more wins. Its a shame because if we were up there and looking like we could make the play-offs, we would be a team coming into form at just the right time of the year. As were not going to make it, it makes sense to share KKs rides out amongst our regular team on Friday and give them all the chance to earn a bit of extra money. BELLE VUE (from): Craig Cook, Patrick Hougaard, Joe Jacobs, Scott Nicholls, Richie Worrall, Steve Worrall, Matej Zagar. BUILDBASE BEES (from): Josh Bates, Jason Garrity, Chris Harris, Krzysztof Kasprzak R/R, Danny King, James Sarjeant, Kacper Woryna.

Should be a home win. I can't see Lakeside getting anywhere near. The stars look stronger at reseve and the top 5. -
