  1. Had the same 3 qualified and same 8 finished in the top 8, what 4 picks would you have gone for? The 4 that were chosen? Not having a dig just curious to see whether you think they've gone to the right 4. I personally believe wildcards are essential. For example if Nicki Pedersen gets injured in the 1st round of the GP and is out for the season it gives BSI, and now IMG, the option to put him back in, whereas with no wildcards he wouldn't br granted this reprieve. I don't agree with quite how it's done though, possibly a max of 2 picked by BSI/IMG would suit me, making the GP qualification process far more worthwhile with more spaces up for grabs.
  2. Indeed. But saying Hampel deserves a place over Dryml when he didn't qualify isn't correct. After that point it's in BSI's hands, but as far as the qualification method goes you can't say the rider doesn't deserve to be in it or shouldn't be in it.
  3. But Lukas qualified, you can't claim he doesn't deserve to be or shouldn't be there. Hampel should have qualified if he wanted to be in it
  4. I trust we'll see you in the Irish bar to discuss midget kicking again?
  5. Hancock hits one just coming off the bend which sends him off line. Brilliant racing head from Harris to capitalise on it.
  6. Lindgren, Jonsson, Harris and Kasprzak. I think Hampels had his chance with Kasprzak looking the far better rider at the moment.
  7. Whilst I really don't want to take anything away from an amazing ride from Chris Harris, Greg hit a rut on that last bend which gifted harris that run to the line. If Greg had ridden the same line on that corner as he did the lap before Hancock would have held on.
  8. Only Harris video I could find where he hasnt won from the back
  9. Do you think that Harris couldn't have stayed on in that race? Managed it there with even more contact than Nicholls gave Harris in Germany.
  10. If the best you have is 'nicholls is dirty and desperate' I suggest you watch it again. It's nothing more than a racing incident that unbalances harris, many other riders would have stayed on in the same situation. I like them both but that's the way Britain needed the result if we wanted to see both of them next season in the GP's.
  11. In the same way that Harris had nothing left but to lay the bike down after a small nudge?
  12. If you can't work that out you're an idiot He was in a run-off to stay in the grand prix series.
  13. No his move was to end up second in that race, which he acheived. Had Harris held the bike and stayed on, which a lot of riders with different styles would have in the same situation, Nicholls would have moved him over perfectly. It was an error of judgement which the REFEREE didn't pick up on.
  14. But he did pull it off didn't he? He finished second in that race. It's the refs fault Scott got away with it isn't it? Had Scott been thrown out you wouldn't have cared as it would have been the correct result in your eyes
  15. Scott had no intention of going into that bend and knocking off Harris, probably just move him over and got it wrong. Scott's not dirty, he's hard, much like Hans is. I don't blame Scott for a bit of desperation, that was a run-off to stay in the GP series at the end of the day. He took a chance and it worked for him, blame the ref NOT Scotty.
  16. Nope, not Coventry or Britain yet the fact they both ride for Cov and Team GB apoparently makes a hard ride a hangable offence
  17. After watching that AGAIN - at what point does Harris make Scott shut off?
  18. No we're talking about the Bomber who was no-where near Scott when he passed but Scott lifted Scott shut off out of choice to try and get back under Harris, not because Harris forced him to.
  19. Very few of green's interviews were live. 1 for example had Wieslaw Jagus walking to his bike in the background before a few seconds later being at the tapes under starters orders.
  20. Alright you knew what I meant, 3rd and out the GP's
  21. Scott should have been excluded but I don't blame him for doing it. It's an individual and he NEEDED secvond place to qualify. Try that move and take a risk of being excluded or don't and come 4th. Hmmmm
  22. No it was announced a couple of days ago that Laukkenen was in, if it wasn't I'm pretty sure Charlie Gjedde could get himself there if Kaj was unavailable.
  23. My favourite quote from the piece..... surely not A Pole? Wanting a nomination?! Madness
