Firstly, when someone doesn't make the final, it doesn't mean they've bottled it, it just means they aren't generally as good as or as fast on the night as the people who have gone through Secondly, unlike your beloved Bjarne (who's actually won the battle for last place in a GP this year), Scott doesn't generally end up fighting for last place.

Scott Nicholls has a 100% record in the GP qualifiers I believe. Entered once and ended up in the GP's. A better record than the failiure Jarek Hampel who failed to progress this year

I said at the time nothing was wrong with Crump's bike. Think that's an excuse. Looks to me like he's just dropped the clutch and pulled it back after he hit the tapes. He turned his head when he dropped the clutch too, something you surely wouldn't do if it was a bike problem???
