Berwick v Glasgow , BSN thingy , 6/4/24 @7pm

Most double down when they realise they have made a James Hunt off it to save face. In this case he has decided to back down and still made a James Hunt off it. -

You have the facts too hand then. No didn’t think so. -

100% this , as I said we all know he is proven at this level but his start to the season is a worry for us and Brum. Hopefully whatever is curtailing his scoring is sorted sooner rather than later. -

Not writing him off by any means as he is a top rider at this level. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes could be mechanical, confidence but I’m sure he will be fine and scoring the points we know he is capable off. -

Steve Worralls early season form hasn’t exactly set the heather alight. But 42 away to a good Berwick team and taking into account the circumstances is respectable for a season opener. Should manage the aggregate bonus point at Ashfield. -

Workington Comets v Scunthorpe Scorpions 6/4/24 3pm BSN

Thick skinned to repel the hours of sun we get , with the exception of a 40 mile radius east of Harthill. -
Sun splitting the trees here, what’s the problem with this so called rain.

Couple of Small April showers and they seize the opportunity to put back their humiliation until a later date.

In Toms case travelling was becoming an issue with his continental commitments. In this case it probably suited both parties, agree with you on Connor.
-
It was time for Tom to move, his scoring around Ashfield last season was patchy a lot of the time. Don’t get me wrong he was a good fit for Glasgow when we managed to get him onboard when Eastbourne sadly folded . Very likeable young man who should go on and have a good career.

Workington v Berwick Border Trophy 31/03/24 3pm

Race lasts for 4 laps though , so what’s your point. -
Blame the weather. Bottlers.

When Stewart assembled the team I liked the look of it and they would really have to have an off night at home to lose. It is refreshing to see the Bandit fans having a team to be excited about and the team has strength in depth especially at reserve ,if a rider in the 1-5 is having an off night. Hope they have an off night this Saturday right enough.

Must have imagined Bomber doing it for fun in the play-off final , Need to check back to see if it was into double digits right enough. -
If you had won it I doubt you would say the same.

With Cookie form is temporary but class is permanent he will hold his own , maybe not as the force he once was but still a capable heat leader. Anytime I have seen Batchelor he is average at best and his antics at last season’s pairs were poor at best. -

I thought Berwick were excellent last night , Workington not so much. Workington will improve as the season progresses but Berwick are a level above them as it stands. -

Health and safety has now got to stupid levels of stupid. So for that reason it was probably H&S. -

It is early days more confident that Cook will regain some sort of form , not so sure Batch will. -

I let’s be honest they are both in decline and Batchelor at an alarming rate. I hope Cookie can regain some form ,he is not a write off just yet. -

If Workington are relying on the present day Cook and Batchelor then it’s going to be a very long and hard season for them. -

Think Borke will be a trump card at reserve Bandits to win by 8.
