  1. Don't think you missed out on him he was alway's going to Edinburgh he is good round the EWR though saw him guesting for us down there a couple off season's ago and was imperious so for that reason i think the Monarchs will have too much in there locker for Scunny today.
  2. Was wondering how that was possible myself on how his average can actually increase after his let's say slowish start to the season one theory i do have is that the BSPA are getting there own back on dodgy burgergate but penalising the wrong team.
  3. No it isn't a drubbing but in reality the final score flattered Peterborough and the point they did get was down more to Glasgow throwing point scoring positions away more down to bad luck than anything else but as i said we will take any kind off victory after our poor start.
  4. Well that was eventful we contrived to make the score closer than it really should have been having said that if Richard Lawson turned up it could have been worse and best wishes to all the injured riders in a very eventful meeting. Rusty,Theo & Anders all took sore ones whilst in point scoring positions in Theo's case the bike just stopped dead on the 2nd bend and high sided him looked a really bad one and was glad he got up & walked away from that one albeit in what condition he is in is anyones guess Dimitri & Lasse Bjerre was as bad a crash i have seen whilst the younger Bjerre eventually got up Dimitri was still on track with the Ambulance out a good 10mins after the meeting had finished and as i had to leave i don't know how serious this is for the young lad hope he is ok though as this young boy is a real talent and it would severely hamper us further if he is missing for any length off time. And the Enigma that is Herr Wolbert he had Two excellent rides one ok ride and two poor ones but he looked a lot quicker today and faster out the tapes but it may well be that his confidence has took a battering over the last few weeks but his pass on Lawson in heat 13 was sublime so more encouraging from Kevin Mark Lemon think it is one season too many for him as his point scoring is in decline and was replaced by Kasper in his last programmed ride The Panthers rode well in fit's and starts with Bjerre riding well and Ostergaard Started poorly but improved as the meeting wore on. No idea what was wrong with Lawson though he was poor out the gate and not fast enough when he did against Wolbert in heat 13. All in all a good meeting but really Peterborough were fortunate to get the point they did but we will take the win as it is a starting point after the tough start to the season we have had.
  5. Got a point or the panthers did but 3 less than he thought.
  6. If your other 5,460 posts are as patronising as this one then i really hope that we dish out a nice 10 point victory today, It is idiot's like you that make this forum worthwhile telling poster's like yourself that you are basically idiot's thankfully most off the Panthers supporters are not tarred with the same brush as you Clown.
  7. Seems the Panthers management & fan's are confident off at least 3 points from today's meeting and after the start we have made it is understandable that they have targeted this as an away win i just have a feeling if we sort the bike & gating issues think the panthers may be in for a surprise if the gating & bike issues persist then it may be a case of same old we shall see.
  8. Now Now Tyretrax Mr B is still reeling from the Edinburgh call off last night please refer to that thread and you will see what i mean he is trying to redeem himself somewhat, it will take some redeeming right enough but you have to give him credit for at least trying to deflect the situation.
  9. The amount off shale on the Ashfield track last Sunday would have fitted in a nutshell.
  10. It is off course my duty as the upstanding citizen i am to ensure that Mr B and his motley crew are not exaggerating the fact's for there own benefit simples . For the above press release to be made by your good self tell's me you were hooked my Good friend from the tropical east but you pale into insignificance to the post from Monarchlad actually backing you up priceless just pure priceless Can you advise Monarchlad that we now have him on our radar as high priority the same benefit that you have the privilege off being on for the p1sh take it is off course our duty and i am sure i shall be ably assisted by George & my good brother Paulco And there we have it in full black & white how good is that .
  11. PMSL Was it actually not what i have been told by a good source anybody else vouch for this as i wouldn't like to think it was called off due to sun glare or something like that heaven forbid. Not a good enough source you might be Mr Bs lovechild for all i know i want proof hard proof i say evidence the Sun was not shining.
  12. Looked Sunny to me when i was through around 2ish surely you can't call a meeting off whilst the sun was shining surely not tell me this is not so .
  13. Notice it was the usual suspect's that let us down Wolbert , Piper & Lemon Young Berge having never seen the track is putting those 3 put together to shame time for the management to wield the axe as if those 3 scored how they can we would at least have got a point maybe more as i said on Sunday no room for sentiment not performing then move them on.
  14. I don't know what was said but James has been around a few years now and has probably reached his level the other lad i know nothing about but it is hard for any young rider regardless of origin to get better they need track time and a pot of money for good equipment. You wish never happen though.
  15. Why do you persist on going on thread's were your in-put is the same as the number off brain cells you possess Nil but i suppose it is your choice to be ignored by most Enjoy being brain dead
  16. Ah that old chestnut whilst it wasn't the two reserves fault on Friday as they are clearly not good enough for PL racing at the minute. But if your not good enough where you come from shouldn't come into it if your not good enough your just simply not good enough regardless.
  17. No we are starting at the top with the criticism and working our way down with the exception off rider's 2 & 3 and possibly 5 on this occasion.
  18. And they appeared to have another spare tractor yesterday you couldn't make this up get three tractors and all the drivers walk out if carlsberg done speedway promoting they should stay away from Glasgow.
  19. And how would they know that, is this part off the due diligence process now i can see the interview now Kevin we want you to be our No1 next season Oh ok Kevin have you any financial difficulties that mean your equipment isn't up to scratch and you will struggle to score points No It is not as if they would do a credit check on him to ride speedway Jeeeeeeeez I really despair at some off the post's on here.
  20. Compared to and i am using Edinburgh as a guide our presentation and overall match day running is as un-professional as there's is professional but you are correct another season like last and the crowd will drop as to ask them to continue to pay to watch crap 2 seasons in a row is pushing your luck a bit too much so from that respect they need to address all the issues they have.
  21. On current scoring levels anyone who scores over 5 a match would be an improvement not being funny but apart from Friday at the Dale he has hardly been a number 1 it is not a case of who comes in it is a case of the change has to happen for everybody's sake including the rider who if you witnessed what we had to today then clearly he can't be enjoying it either Even the Gjedde situation was better than that today he has talent there is no doubt about that but for all concerned it would be better he was moved on.
  22. Think that is a given and i think more than him may follow if anything can be salvaged then things need to happen quickly the next 2 meetings Redcar on Thursday & Home to Peterborough on Sunday should be the ultimatum on improved performances. There can be no room for sentiment we need to be ruthless to save our season you only need to use Newport in 2011 as a gauge on making the right changes and transforming there season i suspect possible replacement's are being sounded out already. The ball is firmly in there court but going By Wolbert's body language today it would need a massive turnaround in his performance levels to save his Glasgow career. I know Dekks has been using the Agent Wolbert phrase tongue in cheek but the difference is that an agent has pride in his performance i have never witnessed as poor a No 1 performance from a rider in all my years attending he looked as if he would have rather been anywhere apart from Ashfield today as i say i think possible changes not just one are already in motion for our sake i just hope they are the right ones we shall see. No dilemma Screm they just have to be ruthless in the changes required and quickly after today I believe they know that and this will happen.
  23. Oh & well done to Edinburgh you can only beat what is in front off you and the are certainly doing that.
