Yeah you played your part but we pulled away towards the end. Was difficult to see exactly from the home straight but I have seen Cookie take that inside line loads of times on the second bend and worked it well. Bens reaction suggests the Gap wasn’t there.

Good meeting that really enjoyed it and Edinburgh played there part in making it a good meeting. Pickering = Class on a bike We looked strong and will get stronger Claus settled back in as if he had never been away. Ben should have waited until Cookie took his helmet off before punching him would have made more off an impact.

We have had one meeting and we are talking about weak links deary me . they should give them at least six meetings then we will have a better idea. Ace will progress as the season unfolds and he gains confidence.

Good luck to young Ace on his first Championship meeting on Friday. Just go out and enjoy the occasion with no pressure it will be a big learning curve for him.
