  1. In a couple of hours, Lakeside`s title hopes will be in tatters. Panthers on the prowl.
  2. Just on the train to Rye. Hundreds of Panthers on this train. Will feel like a home match for Swales' men.
  3. £17 for admission is a joke. My return ticket to Rye is only costing £20.
  4. The Panthers side looks very formidable now. Jorgensen, Grondal, Aarnio, Covatti, Lambert & Wilkinson. All track specialists at Rye, Lakeside are in huge trouble.
  5. Ulrich out, Covatti in. At least we now know why Ulrich has been so awful. If he's been ill, why has he been riding? Makes us stronger, but we're still up against it.
  6. Any prospective buyers would complete due diligence. You can't cook the books. Ged gets no benefit from lying. He's telling the truth.
  7. Peterborough & Poole are both successful clubs with healthy crowds. Most clubs are making a loss, the two above are an exception.
  8. Just seen the ET and Panthers are definitely running next year. If Ged can't sell then the club will continue. However, he has already received three serious enquiries.
  9. Is that really the best we can do? Jorgensen is awful around Rye House.
  10. Questions have to be asked about Kings Lynn's mentality. They always bottle big fixtures.
  11. They shouldn't get a guest, I hope we lodge a protest. Makes a mockery of our sport.
  12. I'm probably going to be going to this. The trains work out really well for this. Rye House station is next to the stadium, and trains run back from London fairly late to Peterborough. A couple of good guests and I will be there!
  13. That wouldn't benefit Lakeside. They would miss out on a Semi-Final crowd.
  14. What a ridiculous rule, especially this time of the year where loads of riders have gone back home or are injured. Hopefully, the BSPA step in like they did for the Premiership Final.
  15. As Glasgow are crashing out tonight out of the play-offs. Can we use Harris for next Sunday? Harris in for Palm Toft and Richie Worrall or Kacper Woryna in for Nicholls. 1. R Worrall / K Woryna 2. E Grondal 3. Wilson-Dean R/R 4. U Ostergaard 5. C Harris 6. S Lambert 7. C Wilkinson. The above side would be in the best interests of British Speedway and would ensure a healthy contingent of Panthers' fans heading to Rye House.
  16. Lakeside announcing a date before the Panthers agreeing is very unprofessional. However, the fixture is on the BSPA website, so I'm assuming it's been approved. Sunday should be fine, only Scunthorpe and Workington are riding which means that the Panthers will have a vast array of guests to book. Am I correct in stating that you can't book guests from other play-off teams? That seems a really silly rule.
  17. If Lakeside can't hold this meeting within a reasonable period of time, they should be forced to forfeit. I appreciate they have stadium problems, but that's not our concern.
  18. Good management by Carl Johnson. No point saving Lambert's rides.
  19. Being honest, the performance in the first leg meant that we had to hit perfection tonight.
  20. Watching Simon Lambert tonight at the Showground, why aren't Lynn getting the best of him? He is capable of being a heat leader.
  21. The new 15 metre rule is brilliant. Really makes the sport so much fairer. Well done to the BSPA.
  22. His bike packs up again. Time for him to go, we need a new number 5.
