  1. Bacon is not afraid of a challenge. If he wants to head to the very top like Jack Holder has done, he needs to master big tracks. The money is in Poland.
  2. I don't need to save up. I have £25k saved up and I'm only 22. I'm going places.
  3. If we do go up to the top league, I would love to see the below riders. Jack Holder - Only going to get better and better, rides the Showground very well. Linus Sundstrom - On a very low average of 6.13, a rider full of potential. Kenneth Bjerre - On an average of 7.16, he would be a no brainer. Krysztof Buczkowski - On a 6.02, he is effectively a heat-leader around the Showground. Michael Jepsen Jensen - 6.52 is his average, capable of hitting 9+. A fan's favourite at the Showground. Holder, Sundstrom, MJJ, Buczkowski, Bjerre, Lambert & Bacon. The above would be a side that I would pay £20+ to watch every week at the Showground.
  4. Sundstrom would be a brilliant signing. Anyone else agree? He would rack up a 10 point average. He is incredibly smooth.
  5. A real shame that fans were robbed of a fitting final between the two top teams in the Championship.
  6. Decision not to take gates 1 & 3 was a poor one by Lakeside.
  7. The trolls in this thread are incredibly boring. This should be a thread to discuss the Panthers 2019 side. I'll get us back to topic. I for one would like to see Edward Kennett in the side, on his current average, he would be a bargain! Kennett, Nicholls, Palm Toft, Wilson-Dean, Lambert, Bacon and one other would be my side.
  8. Maybe Scunthorpe's riders would have benefitted from guesting last night, they appear to be very rusty.
  9. Injuries have cost the Panthers, it's still been a successful season with the incredible victory at the Fours and more importantly, healthy crowds.
  10. That was on Sunday. There were over a hundred Panthers supporters, we had our own entrance. I can show you my train ticket if you want evidence of my journey, I'm not a liar.
  11. We should continue with Sunday racing, it's the only sustainable way to continue. Sunday afternoons attract the general public and families, looking for something to do on the weekend. Weekday evenings are not good. Would like to see as many of the existing team as possible. Maybe with the exception of Ulrich who would maybe benefit from a move elsewhere.
  12. And who developed Jack Holder? It was the Panthers management that turned him into a Polish League superstar. Before he joined the Panthers, he was a flaky 7 point 2nd tier rider.
  13. Oh dear. What an awful side. Panthers have been robbed through injuries and bad luck. Lakeside's incompetence on Sunday has meant the Panthers now have a weaker team. We should be riding under protest.
  14. I've worked out the three best possible guests for the Panthers. Steve Worrall, Jason Garrity and Kyle Howarth. All three are track specialists around Rye House, they will ensure a Panthers win.
  15. I'm fairly certain he isn't. He's not in any declared 1-7. A shame as Kennett would have been ideal. He should be allowed to guest, a British rider out of work is not good for British Speedway.
  16. Why would the Showground landlords give Lakeside Hammers, free lights?
  17. Worrall and Garrity fit for Nicholls and Palm Toft. Barker (is he fit?) in for Ulrich. Worrall, Grondal, Barker, Garrity, Lambert and Wilkinson. That would be my side. I am not up to date with the rules but would there be anything stopping the Panthers using Broc Nicol as a replacement for Tom Bacon?
