  1. I'm buzzing for next week, I've never felt like this before for a Panthers match I only normally feel like this for big Spurs games and when Sophie wants to play dress up.
  2. Ipswich are in the playoffs now, they should win at Redcar and a Roseless Newcastle. Well done guys.
  3. Just leaving now, a hugely disappointing result but next weeks task is clear, Two home wins mean we're on 41 points from 23 matches with Edinburgh away to come? Ipswich on 30 points from 20 matches need 11 points from their remaining four fixtures which include trips to Newcastle and Redcar. I'll be there next week watching us put the wrongs from tonight right.
  4. The Newcastle collapse is on, I suspect they will lose to Somerset at home and at Plymouth. Could they slip out of the play-offs?
  5. It's going to be the night we announce our play-off intentions and the likes of Somerset and Glasgow start to panic. Anders and Cook to both go unbeaten, I'm going for 50-40 to the Panthers.
  6. That would be Newcastle's only way of reaching the Semi-Final so I would advise them to go down the cowardice route.
  7. Pavlova is overrated. Newcastle's Top 4 is Lambert, Worrall, Lindgren and Kus Ours is Cook, Bjerre, Thomsen and Ulrich Cook > Lambert Bjerre > Worrall Ulrich > Lindgren Thomsen > Kus They're going to get smashed.
  8. Newcastle without Lewis Rose are sitting ducks, I hope we ride against them so their smug fans come back down to earth.
  9. It only takes around 3 hours to get to P'boro from Manchester and with this being a bank holiday; Cook could do it within 2 hour 30 as I'm sure the Panthers promotion has agreed to cover any speeding tickets that Cook's mechanic gets.
  10. Affordable pricing just doesn't come down to the management, It stems from the riders. Anders and Kenneth were offered more to ride for Elite League clubs during the course of the year but they chose the Panthers in the Premier League.
  11. That's correct, Kenneth and Richy make their debuts next Sunday in front of a bumper crowd thanks to the Panthers affordable pricing structure.
  12. The weather is perfect, this is the definition of must win.
  13. Cook, Bjerre, Thomsen and Ulrich are not PL riders. The first three would be EL heat leaders.
  14. We already have a back-up plan in place; Panthers will revert to their previous declaration as per BSPA rules and if NBJ and Morris don't turn up then they'll be withholding their services and we'll have to book guests which I'm sure the management have already looked into.
  15. Richard Hall is a British rider, what's the difference between a young Brit and an old Brit. That's age discrimination.
  16. BSPA press release states: "Subject to BSPA approval both riders will make their debuts next Sunday (September 4) when Panthers take on Rye House and Workington in a crucial double-header at the East of England Showground".
  17. The problem with speedway is that It's like communism; everybody wants everybody to be dragged down to their level. Matt Ford and Ged Rathborne are the pioneers of our sport.
  18. On paper yes but Anders isn't a 6.62 rider and neither is Bjerre 8.22.
  19. 28th August is the last day for new declarations to be submitted in as the new team has to be active by the 31st of August.
  20. I just hope we can get into the play-offs and win the league for Ged. It would be amazing If we could do it against the big spenders Glasgow and Somerset and It would be a win for speedway in general.
  21. We need to get into the play-offs first before we talk about winning the league. I'm concerned about Monday, we really need NBJ and Morris to turn up otherwise we could be in trouble as Redcar have plenty of riders who are Showground specialists.
