What nonsense, That 9 score was helped by a 6 point double points ride which we ended up using thanks to no Ulrich. R/R scored 2,6,0,1 and the 1 in the last ride was a 0 where we got 5-1ed Ulrich scored in the last meeting 3,3,1,3,3 from 5 rides. Not overly concerned, We have ridden 3 away and only 1 home so our position in the league is false and a run of 4 home meetings should provide us with plenty of points and today we were weakened without two heat-leaders.

I know when Jepsen Jensen was a young rider in Denmark, he was struggling to attract sponsors and funding for his speedway career so in the weekends while all his friends were out partying, He spent Saturday and Sunday digging out potatoes for the local farmer and in return, He got 200 Krone which equates to £20 in UK terms and he used that to fund his speedway career. Now he's earning silly money in Poland and Sweden (£600+ a point) yet he still chooses to help that same farmer in the Winter for his 200 Krone.

Great meeting tonight, compare that to the European GP a couple of weeks ago. Amazing what promoters who love speedway can do with the sport, let them revive the GP series I say.
