Why did Poland not call up Artem Laguta? Their stubborn pride has led to them failing in another event.

Zmarzlik chokes. What this event has shown me is that Russia would wipe the floor with this field. Emil and Artem would hit 7-2s in every heat.

Zmarzlik is a great individual rider, but his record in world cups is awful. Artem Laguta can do it in the GPs and World Cup. That's the difference.

How much did that temporary stand cost?

Not just the pricing structure. Imagine Fifa organising a World Cup without Mbappe and Messi. Imagine F1 organising a Championship without Max and Lewis. Imagine Wimbledon without Djokovic and Nadal. By excluding Artem & Emil from this event, the FIM have shot themselves in the foot.

I am told the FIM are shocked at the ticket sales. One committee member has blamed the failure of the event on the lack of star riders. The SWC used to have the likes of Gollob, Crump, Ward, Nicki, Hancock, Jonsson, Hampel and Andersen. Expect Emil and Artem to be back in next year. The fans want to watch Team Russia!

Why are Ukraine allowed into this tournament, but Russia are excluded?

Would serve the FIM right if this was rained off. Russia's exclusion from this event is a disgrace.

Lindgren has been an awful signing. No commitment to British Speedway. Laguta would have been a bettrr signing. @stevebrum

Artem waited 6 months for a phone call from the UK. One never came.

There is one former Kings Lynn rider who would be an upgrade on Toby.

For the money Lindgren is being paid, he should be winning heats 1,13 and 15. Artem Laguta wouldn't let 2nd rate riders like Tungate beat him.

Lindgren is past his best. Artem Laguta would have been a much better signing. What number 1 doesn't win heats 1,13 and 15?
