This match sums up the problem in British Speedway. One team has Emil and Doyle, the other team has Tungate and Janowski. I would love to know if Ipswich fans found tonight's meeting interesting.

I can see this being a very one-sided match.

A few weeks into the season and it's obvious that Belle Vue, Sheffield and Ipswich are in their own league, while the rest are plucking along. Knowing which teams are going to finish top and bottom is not very fun. The NBA and NFL are the most successful leagues in the world and they operate on a salary cap basis. Should speedway do the same? I think this would increase competition and make the league more exciting.

It's all to do with money. I suspect Jenkins told the other clubs that he wouldn't ride for them.

Everyone knows the "rising star" draft was rigged. It was odd that the two clubs with the most money ended up with the best riders.

Nonsense. Birmingham's biggest problem is their track. A top 5 of Musliak, Jeppesen, MJJ, Rew and Zagar is pretty good.

Really nice to see Zagar and MJJ check in on Vuolas. Team spirit seems to be good.

How can you award that race?

That looked a horrible crash. This track is dangerous. The referee better not award this race...

MJJ has looked really fast in his last 2 rides. I would definitely throw him into heat 15.

Every year a team opts for strength in depth. Fans talk it up... Reality sets in when the season starts.

Jepsen Jensen needs to step up in heat 12 and 15.
