Agree, if the teams are limited by average total it makes sense that once a meeting is won any more rides can result in scores of 1 or 0 to keep the average down. Riders have ridden well, increased their average and could then put themselves out of a team place the next year.

We know that Poole and Stars are better than Wolves but even they have had away blips recently. This was seen with the good performance by Wolves last night.

Maybe not at Poole in a one off meeting but if we get into top four at the expense of BV or even KL we will do well on home and away aggregate. The main question is, is Matt going to replace a rider and who with if the team average drops.

The new track is going to be between the turnstiles, behind bend 1 of the present track and the main A419 road, the track will be parallel with the main road.

It has been brought to my attention that the meeting being shown between Poole and Swindon on Aug 19th is shown on the sky web page as being on Monday Aug 17th which is interesting as we are racing at BV that night. http://www.skysports.com/watch/speedway-on-sky Can this organisation not get things right or have the meetings been changed and the bspa not told.

In the past at Swindon, staff used to be on the centre green during sidecar racing but as Neil says they are more dangerous, if they collide they can bounce off each other and career across the centre green where as speedway bikes just tend stay on the track.

The TR was not needed though, it gave us 3 extra points but we won by 7, anyway it is fun winding up Stevebrum and I hope he realises it is just a bit of banter, the same as I accept from him.

Not joking, Lakeside had a bad run at home at the end of April and in May and yes even Wolves managed to beat them by 2 points, but since then they have been winning at home.

After the victory parade last night the riders returned to the pits via the terraces, something the riders should do a lot more often. Darcy was the last back and spent ages talking to young and old, he was heard to say he liked it at Swindon.
