  1. Charles has been released from hospital and confirmed that he will ride tonight following his accident last night, his injury was uncomfortable and I bet it made his eyes water. It is amazing what a bit of massage from a nice young nurse will do ! Will be good to see Kyle Howarth there tonight even though he is riding for the opposition. Second half action is six heats of junior action on 125s and 250s.
  2. This is shocking, Coventry should cancel their meeting or let Hans have a night off so we can use him.
  3. Cannot find any news yet on who is replacing Nick and the reserves for this meeting, anyone have any clues yet ?
  4. The robins should have done better than that, congratulations Poole
  5. A good check on the weather is if Wills mother has put her washing out or not.
  6. Add to that the fact that where a rider wants to ride is a major factor. As far as a contract goes it is a two way agreement. Matt no doubt has asked the riders to sign a water tight contract which ties the rider to the club, but if the rider is really good he can dictate his own terms and the club has to take it or leave it. The contract should benefit both parties and should not be controlled by one of the parties. Darcy would be daft to sign a contract that ties him to one club for life.
  7. Would agree with what you are saying but Rob Branford is on the FTR list as a guest option only and not able to ride full time. He may have possibly indicated that he may change his status on the list if that is allowed.
  8. It would be down to what type of contract Darcy or more likely his lawyers have negotiated with Matt
  9. Lakeside visit this thurs in a busy and important week for Swindon. We got 4 points on monday at Wolves and race at Poole on wed. Swindon have Hans riding as a guest for the injured Nick Morris and Rob Branford guests for Lewis The last time Lakeside visited the Robins team was quite different and the score was 47 - 43 but since then Swindon has changed its team. Lakeside have not won away from home at all this year. Can only see a Swindon win and another 3 points.
  10. Unfortunately no, car off the road at the moment but will try to get down later in the year.
  11. Yes the Pirates will feel the breeze as the Robins go past them
  12. The result of this meeting could be down to Rosco either picking a great guest for Nick, who will be out of action for a while, or goes with r/r which gives all riders an extra ride. Not sure which d/u riders and reserves are available yet but the Robins need more points on the road.
  13. Can we use him at Lakeside on fri, he scored 10 tonight, if not Chris Harris scored 9
  14. Did it, a great 4 points away from home. Nick being withdrawn is of concern for the rest of this busy week. Great performance from Zengi, Darcy, Charles and a good one from Ashley and Troy. Now need to do the same on Wed.
  15. Not sure but if it is the picture is crap
  16. The robins need points on the road and tonight could provide them, be it 1 or 4.
  17. No you are not, did not know that he had resigned. Just hope it is because he is either too busy doing other things or having dealt with the bspa he realises he is wasting his time in trying to help this sport.
  18. Read post number 12. The above does not work.
  19. It does seem to be the situation that even if you could impose conditions about noise on a house purchaser the law is stupid and will listen to someone complaining about noise even if what creates the noise was already there.
  20. Glad I did not go to pub to watch this. Not only delayed but I have found the last couple of GPs a bit boring.
