A good night at the abbey, was surprised it was on after the rain that came down in the rest of Swindon but with its mini climate missed blunsdon. Darcy was brilliant from the start of the first race, so smooth and fast on his bike and showed that he did not need time to get back into racing or to learn the track. He rode like he had in the past when visiting and his signing is a great move by Rosco. The other riders also did well especially Charles Wright who had good races with Kyle Newman and deservedly got man of the meeting. The crash involving Lewis was extremely bad luck as he had nowhere to go in trying to avoid Paul Stark. Report on his injuries here http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2475 Poole were not there usual selves and we will have to see what the Robins do when they visit Poole later this month. Now this meeting will be a massive draw. Swindon have moved to 4th in the league table above that lot from Manchester and now need to win on the road as we have some tough away meetings, apart from Wolves that is.

Coventry V Wolves Friday 10th July

And Swindon heading for at least 4th place -
Agree ER, the same can be said for a rider that has a very low average of say 3 and who scores 6 in one meeting or one who is usually half a lap behind and then improves, beats the opposition and scores 1 or 2 points.

Good luck to those remaining, thanks r and r will be back next season -
It is good that Rosco read my post on here and has got Hans as a guest for Nick. With Hans, Darcy and hopefully a fit Troy, then with Zengi and Ed they should provide a good meeting against the dark force. Not sure if Charles is riding and even with Lewis getting a bit better it is the reserve scores, as shown at Leicester, that will be important. We all know what Dak and Magic are capable of at Swindon and with Chris Holder are a powerful heat leader trio. D Watt seems now to have upped his scoring and with Kasper are not bad. Kyle could do very well and worry our reserves. It may be asking too much of Ed for his first meeting at Swindon but if Darcy rides like he did last night and gets another brilliant score, Hans guests like he has done at Blunsdon, Troy is fit and Ed dials into the track Swindon can win this meeting.

R/R for Nick tonight, that rider is earning a fortune this year. Makes the team a bit weaker.

By the sound of it he will not be riding anywhere this weekend, Nick says hoping will not be out too long but it is a nasty one. -
Surprised they chose Zengi for Lakeside, his score there for Swindon was not good.

On that performance most of Wolves opposition for the rest of the season will be getting around 60. -
The reserves for this are scoring all over the place tonight. L Rose R3633 A Roynon 2+1 from 5 rides S Lambert 4+1 from 6 rides C Wilkinson 2123. A lot will depend on how Cook scores and this meeting could go either way

I wonder if Rosco looked at Joonas Kylmakorpi as a guest for Batch, he scored 11 from 5 rides when Coventry rode at Leicester recently? He is getting a good score tonight and Cook does not seem as good. Hope I am wrong and Cook goes well.
