The appeal has to be made before the meeting, but okay. -

Nothing to do with the loss, sounds like we didn’t de serve to win it’s more the rules not being applied. The club are I’m led to believe are appealing on the fact that Proctor who currently isn’t allowed to ride in the UK and shouldn’t be declared in a teams 1-7. Meaning that a guest shouldn’t have been allowed and a NL guest should’ve took his place. -

Exactly, he signed before Christmas I believe so god knows what he and Workington have been doing since then. -

Stupid rules or not rules are rules, personally find it ridiculous that Proctor and Workington haven’t got his visa sorted yet it’s April. -

It’s more to do with he’s not eligible to ride so no facility at all should be granted and it should’ve been a NL rider taking his place. -

Good point for the boys, fantastic from Ricky, Erik backing him up well, poor from Josh needs to be better, good to see Joel and max scoring points also. Strange heat 15 selection from the home boys imo handing us a point. -

That a guest shouldn’t have been allowed for Proctor. -

While waiting on the appeal to be heard. Seems those in charge just pick and choose when they are going to apply the rules. -

On the whole Proctor situation, how can a rider be declared in a teams 1-7 even though he doesn’t have clearance to ride in the country and a guest be allowed to take his place. -

Home win but can see us taking a point from tonight, if it’s on -
he’s not been picked by his polish side for their first league match this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing some racing back at Armadale once again. Personally feel like any win would be a good result for us tomorrow against a Glasgow side who’s riders are very useful around the Dale, apart from the big Dane. More competive Laps under their belts as well for the boys prior to the proper stuff starting.

Wouldn’t say conspiracy, but it does come across a little odd that he has mentioned them at all. Anyway sad to see, Stewart was always good for a chat and a bit of banter. Very passionate about his speedway and Glasgow speedway of course, disappointing to see.
-
As we celebrate 70 years to this day that the club rode its first ever match, they have also announced that we now have a team sponsor for the season in staggs bar in Musselburgh.

Good workout for the boys last night, I’m sure they’ll be a little disappointed being 2 down with 2 to go and then go on to concede 2 5-1s. Ricky was solid, young max was impressive and looks a great find, mark was solid as a 3rd heat leader, tough baptism to British speedway for Joel hopefully he will improve with time, Erik looks the real deal this year and ready to take the next step in his career can see him being number 1 sooner rather than later, josh struggled but we know he can do far better so no need to worry and Matt was the star man for me very impressive sharp out the gate and no slouch after that either. New season same old sarj, really needs to learn to sit still at the start getting beyond a joke now.

Not to bothered about the result with it being our first meeting of the season, as long as we don’t disgrace ourselves. looking forward to seeing max and Joel in competitive action to see how they get on not expecting too much against a strong Glasgow top 5. Also looking forward to seeing if the alterations to the track make any difference to the racing or still be follow the leader.
