The Voice Of Reason. As someone who has been involved in just about every aspect of Speedway over more years than I care to remember, your post above and your previous one are in my opinion two of the best, most honest and most knowledgeable posts I have read on these forums in many a long time !! Well done that Man or Lady

There is NO MANDATORY interval ! The workshop situation i believe was all sorted last November and has in the last coulpl of weeks become unavailable now, David and Nicki will once again be staying in the same house in Tweedmouth, they just need a small garage to wash an prepare their bikes, i asked and was told all this by Ian Rae last saturday night in the Black And Gold

No surprise there then ! Yet ANOTHER negative post from one of the usual suspects,
-
I suppose someone should have got it. Not sure if any one particular person does it, I think it's more of a shared job. But if node person got you message and it in any way was not complimentary to them then maybe they wouldn't want to share it with the others haha. I can if you wish send you some e-mail addresses by private message. Please don't give up on this as you are, to the best of my knowledge, a lot more qualified than any body currently involved with the speedway in media and marketing. We can all criticise, as I have done in the past, but I prefer to tell the people and discuss it, and things become a whole lot clearer, Let me know if you want the info I've offered

Who did you send the letter too ? I know them all, i could give them a nudge, maybe they didn't receive the letter ? Maybe they did reply but you didn't receive the letter, i'll say it again, they are willing to listen, you would in all honesty be better to speak to one of them as i feel with your background you could really help

Is M Max still going to be doing Worky ?

You still havn't said what your credentials are ! If this presentation is your fort'e then maybe you could help out. I don't think the Berwick owners are daft enough to think their product is perfect, sometimes when you are too closely involved with something you can't see the wood for the trees, they have never been shy to say they are open to any suggestions any body may have to improve their product, and indeed have acted on many during their reign. Try calling any of them, if you need numbers i have most of them or e-mail the address is on the website

Tell us more please, what are you credentials ? Nobody is stirring anything, i have been a supporter of Speedway in Berwick since day one, through our first stint at Shielfield to Berrington Lough and back to Shielfield, including our nomadic time at Barrow, I have through all that time given my services free of charge in helping in just about every aspect of running Speedway. I have seen first hand what it takes to put the show on. It must be the most thankless task in the world bearing in mind the people that do it give up hours and hours of their private / family time voluntarilly only for people to slag them off. We have at Berwick probably the friendliest and most pro active and most approachable owners / management in the sport, So instead of moaning on an internet forum about these things, go and speak to any one of them and tell them your concerns or better still offer your advice and help or just talk to them and ask why things are done in a certain way. They, more than anyone want Speedway and especialy Bewick Speedway to be succesful and survive well into the future, or they would not be there now

The saviour of Speedway has arrived !!! Every track in the country, i an sure would love to speak to you as a person who knows everything about presentation and track preperation
-
Thanks for the report Chopper, much appreciated, and well done Robert Branford

Say's who, Nicki says there's no problem, why do people seem to enjoy being all doom and gloom

Could Ty Proctor be riding for Wolves on the 2nd ?
-
I know they tried for Somerset friday Plymouth Saturday but could not be done

At the forum in the Black & Gold before Christmas when the team was announced, Ian Rae explained that the reason Albin wasn't signed was because with Seb Alden not returning, the team would not have as much top end fire power and it was felt it was more important to get the balance of the team right without taking any risks, good luck to Albin and Sheffield anyway
-
Well, I got the reply I expected.
-
Screwd move by Lee ?
-
The sad thing about your statement is,------------------------- you could be right
-
Can you expand on, or even translate the above comment into something that resembles a modicum of common sense please ?

Only 3 Places Left To Fill..who & Where?
Heedthebaw replied to Steve Hewitt's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
You, are making too many funny little comments, I feel you may just be a little bit more informed than you would want us all to believe. Yes ? -

Do you perhaps know something of some interest ? I smell a rat !! -
If they want to ride in the Premier League, I think it's Sheffield or bust, there are not too many places available now !
-
I've got to say I'm surprised at Max Fricke going to the Monarchs. If I was a Tigers fan I think I'd be a tad hacked off bearing in mind that your new team manager was in fact Max and his Dad's host last year in the UK and was acting as his agent touting him around the northern tracks and has now watched go to your nearest and dearest

Having spoken to one of the club owners yesterday i can confirm that you are talking your usual load of crap, they are still in talks but a long way from anything being confirmed, and they are still exploring every avenue FACT!

And one is Australian !

Aussies not allowed now in NL
