  1. It does look that way unfortunately. I think a few Ipswich fans are hanging on for an international number 1 calibre rider.
  2. I have no superior knowledge. I was being very general with that statement.
  3. Indeed. If we ridden on paper tracks we may as well close the betting on Peterborough. Of course in reality, and to those with a little more knowledge, know that it won’t necessarily play that way on the track ;-)
  4. I think its a decent team. Excellent top 2, solid 2nd strings and good reserves. Lots of potential improvements as well. For me both BV and Poole look very similar.
  5. Belle Vue Poole Wolves Swindon Peterborough Kings Lynn Ipswich
  6. Conversely you appear unwilling to accept that they are not of similar ability. Lets just agree to disagree.
  7. There is nothing angry about asking someone to block me if they don’t agree with an opinion. This is a forum. It’s all about discussion. Which is all I’ve done. Rather than call me out for being repetive, discuss the team. If someone disagrees then challenge. All ive had is its repetive. That’s cool. If people find it that way then just ignore it.
  8. Im not sure how you contrive such an opinion but hey ho. Whatever floats your boat.
  9. On a multitude of occasions but then I’m not here to justify myself to you or anybody else. Who do you think you are?
  10. I’m sure Peterborough will be very strong at home.
  11. Then put me on ignore. Really not bothered. This is a forum for discussion and discuss I will.
  12. This is a forum. If you don’t like my opinion. Block me. Pretty straight forward.
  13. I’ve always thought that and am not at all displeased with his departure. He’s not as good as he thinks he is.
  14. What I see is an ageing Chris Harris on a ridiculously high average. I also see a Hans Andersen who is nearing the end of his career. I see in Cook a rider that is just your average Joe, he will do what Craig does with little improvement in that average. The same with Wright. Just a run of the mill rider. In Barker they have a rider who is also at the end of his career and is nothing like the rider he once was. In Lasse, potential improvement. In BWD, a huge potential. Im not saying Peterborough are a poor team, far from it, and in a 7 team league they will be in a play off conversation. What I’m saying is that so far, imo, Wolves/Belle Vue/Swindon are all better teams with much more scope to improve.
  15. He’s the consummate pro. It was just bad luck. Not his time but it will come.
  16. I can’t deny their averages are similar but I can argue that theoretically they are, and that’s because of the position they were riding in their respective teams. Sam has an inflated average. That they are so close when you consider max was a number 1, I think that paints a more accurate picture.
  17. They are not the same level. I can statistically prove that. In the UK they have similar averages, however Sam’s is inflated because of where he ridden last season. He will start the season at 1, but I can guarantee he will not stay there. Max will. He earned his current average doing most of the season as a number 1. Internationally there is literally no comparison and if people can’t see that then I’m afraid they can’t be helped.
  18. I’m sure max was riding at his maximum. Like I said, only an EF stopped him and there are fine margins in these qualifiers
  19. That’s a strange logic. An ef is just an unfortunate occurrence
  20. Max did half the season at 5 and the other half at 1. He kept number 1 once he got it. Internationally. No comparison. Max was an ef away from being a GP rider.
  21. Can’t agree with that. Not even in the same postcode as max
  22. He won’t that’s right. And that has been my point all along. If they sign Pawliki he will be a number 1 even though he may not start there. First set of averages he’s the number 1 and can guarantee he will stay there. Thorssell won’t. Which makes wolves stronger. My initial point about this team was that it doesn’t have a number 1.
