Andersen is done at the top level. He won’t win the big races when you need him. Solid 3rd heatleader these days. Tungate performed better than he will elsewhere as a number 1 given the track he was on tonight. I’d keep summers, let Barker go and get a proper number 1. Then becomes a much better team.

Yes. Good leaders are infectious and get results from people who generally would fall away. That applies in many walks of life and from a speedway stand point, it creates a team. Good teams get good results and that always starts at the top.

It ended with the greatest speedway track on planet earth. I've seen the business plan, and it's no different to the one currently in operation. The club are running at a loss, like every other track in the United Kingdom. They failed to pay the rent because the rent was extortionate. What they did was get themselves into an absolute mess trying to build one of the greatest tracks we will ever see and save the most iconic, and the most historic speedway team in this sport. They made some poor choices mostly through lack of knowledge but there intentions were always clear, and always well intended. They've been vilified, and burned with their names painted by people very much like yourself who know absolutely nothing about the situation. With greatest respect to you, you are not qualified to hold such an opinion. Whilst all this was going on a certain little someone was laughing away in the background after orchestrating the entire thing, trying to get his grubby mitts on it. Absolutely appaling.

They were kicked out because a certain individual in the Norfolk area wanted his paws on the whole project. I'm not naming names, but I'm sure you are clever enough to figure it out.

They were skint there is no doubt, but to suggest they would go ahead at any cost is quite a ridiculous comment to make, especially coming from such a seasoned poster on these boards. I can go into some detail that would categorically prove that statement wrong but it's not the place, and it's been done already a million times.

I don't like the man, not going to hide it. However I'm sure he's done some good things, and some bad things in the past but I don't think that should alter any feeling for this particular situation. Whichever way you look at it, it's a poor way to handle a new rider to the UK. 3 meetings just isn't enough to formulate opinion and frankly they shouldn't have took the risk if there was a chance they would do this.

It does look as though the 3 east anglian teams will be the worst in the division. That's cost cutting and no surprise given Chapman is overseeing all 3. The other 4 clubs have spent wisely and unless there are changes, which I'm sure there will be, then this years top 4 is probably the easiest prediction we have ever had.

I never worry unless its forecast to rain heavily during the meeting and looking at the forecast there is risk for that tonight. Its moving north westerly so it could miss or we just get the edge of it. If its dry up until 6 then I'd imagine the track will stand it

Absolutely. Peterborough in my opinion are slightly stronger for that change. Obviously losing cook has a meant a reshuffle in riding order and that will cause them some pain. Whilst I don't think Craig is a number 1 in this league, it's a massive loss for Peterborough. To stand any chance of the play offs they need to find a decent replacement which will put lasse back at reserve. If I were them I'd also keep summers for Barker.

It hasn't but Craig is an absolute tool for turning it all down. He is too big for his boots sometimes and whilst I can understand his point (although he completely contradicted himself when asking for more money-makes his sponsor stance void) that doesn't excuse the stupidity of turning down a seat somewhere.
