  1. it would not matter where the gate was 3rd 4th bend is ridden differently it’s the entry into the first bend where every rider heads for it’s was like spongy clay about a meter and a half in diameter and there wasn’t really any way you could avoid it going into the corner it’s alway been there lots of tracks have the same problem but some use other materials it’s the same bit that gets the most use where the bike really turn hard to try keep it on the inside line some use clay to stop it rutting braking up its usually no problem when it’s dry or just a bit soft on top but too much rain and it won’t dry properly hence why they set fire to it to try dry it out leicester had the same problem but they filled it in with concrete but might be changed now the smaller tighter track are the worst because the bikes need to turn really hard i think plymouth tried there hardest to get it on and hoped it would dry out but never did as the promotor said it’s speedway damed if you do damed if you don’t
  2. they wanted to do that at a NL meeting we were at but riders said it wouldn’t work so they tried to fix the exact same spot as last night and ended up ripping up the complete corner knackering the meeting and we all went home
  3. I can tell you Both sets of riders agreed in the pits that it was pretty dangerous nothing to do with the referee really the part that was soft and spongy was on the riders line entering turn one and any rider hitting it would have picked up and sent them straight into the fence if it was a bigger track you could have maybe rode around it
  4. started ok looked like he was flagging towards the end track was heavy so would be a strain on his shoulder maybe should have given ht 15 to paco he was well on the pace all night
  5. get the people to do it live on the next BSN meeting simple
  6. can’t see it working like that every team will want final leg make it simple draw balls then there’s no problems
  7. just hope they can agree dates don’t want it dragging on into September/October get it over and done with it while there’s plenty free weeks draw balls to see who gets 1st 2nd 3rd meeting
  8. So basically you could team ride if together and don’t do anything dangerous or stupid like slow down which could cause a accident
  9. Maybe with Basso having made the gate off gate 2 like he had done in every race he could have clamped the rider in gate 1 and let Danyon come around the outside and maybe could have team rode for 2@3 place all ifs and maybes now we’ll done to Redcar no last places wins it
  10. when you sign into any FIM meeting you are not aloud to ride anywhere else until the meeting is over
  11. pretty much the same with most clubs why would they not bring play off forward and run them in decent weather rather than a wet september/october
  12. Watching from the pits looked like Paco left a big gap for ulrich to dive to the inside and he was just in front heading into bend 4 when Paco tried to come back over him but ulrich was caring too much speed into the corner and Paco really had to bail out racing incident
  13. pretty sure cole’s got a paid win in the reserve race when he was at scunny
  14. I think Nl first which is much more affordable to start with walk before you can run comes to mind with practice day, armature meetings hire days to recoup monies to reinvest to make it even better
  15. Basso told them well before the season ended that he wouldn’t give up his wednesday Danish team commitments and would only have 3 free wednesdays in July their mid season break ,Poole were never going to change their race night just for one rider He was asked by a load of other clubs for his services but his uk mechanic helped him with the choice of uk clubs to ride for both A bit like Vissing missing a few wednesdays with his danish club riding the same night
  16. Dane’s and Wednesday night racing in uk never will work
  17. His team mates might be glad of the chance to get a extra ride meaning more money for them to earn
  18. around 2 hours bit less if traffic easy lot less if your heavy footed lol
  19. tracks are measured around the inside line so can be 260 on the inside but can be a lot more around the outside
  20. MX Rider pay to ride their bikes where practice days can be around £35 but you get to ride your bike for hours rather than minutes and not a lot of travel if your doing local club meetings ,unless you doing British championships which is usually 2 days over a weekend where racing is more expensive to enter and everybody works monday to friday to help fund it and race at weekends nothing on weekdays but practice if you want but it’s much the same in the pits on race days with riders turning up with 2 new tuned bikes every year and £50k motor homes less maintaince on mx bikes
  21. don’t think the home team pays the away team riders points think it’s only something towards there travel
  22. Ben Basso could also be missing will see how he feels in the morning and update rib injury also
  23. Crashed hard in ht 1 rerun struggling to hold on in ht 5 he also crashed last night at Oxford while he has been carrying a rib injury for a few weeks don’t think the tracks got anything to do with it more the body can’t take it
