Fantastic day yesterday, could easily have won the meeting had we not had the falls while in good positions. Great atmosphere from the rebels fans with balloons and confetti shooters. The track was very dusty, hard to watch the racing at times because of it. For the rockets it was a decent display but the only real time they threatened to come back at the rebels was when a rebel rider fell (one of which, morris, was not his fault as nelson locked up, while morris had the speed). For the rebels Doyle was fantastic and could have got a 15 maximum if not for riding today. The rest were solid scores which is all we needed. The one qualm I had was a rye fan further down the back straight, cheering as davies fell while in the lead. Good as it was for them it is disgusting to cheer a rider falling. They should try it, I think it would be different then.

A lot to play for now considering this is the meeting to see who gets first pick and finishes too plus bragging rights between what has become a competitive fixture between these two clubs. -

Should be interesting tonight but I think the rebels should take all four points, too strong for sheffield in depth. Rebels by 12 -
Somerset Cases Rebels V Edinburgh 11/06

That was a brilliant meeting, great racing. The only thing I think was wrong was the disqualification of grajczonek watched on the sky camera at the start line and sneddon should have been excluded in my opinion. That decision changed the match on its head. Also the track was slick but produced some brilliant racing and also made some of the fans look like mud monsters by the end of the meeting. -

Enjoyed last night was a good crack. The track was a tad bumpy which of course resulted in a few falls. For plymouth schramm, gathercole and kurtz rode well. Proctor and lemon need more time to bed in though. While reade looks capable. For us rebels doyle, davies and morris looked good nielsen also lookec capable and maybe could have won had he not fallen while in good positions. Newman, perry and grajczonek can all do better. I did enjoy the banter between us rebels and the devil and the commentator though. That was such a laugh. -

Good meeting but rebels deserved the win in the end. The result was about right for imo an impressive rebels side. For the rebels Doyle, Newman, Davies and Morris were brilliant. Grajczonek showed what he has to offer in his last ride. While the reserves looked a little down on power but can do better. For plymouth Lemon was the best rider for them, Schramm and Kurtz also did well. Kling started well but went of the boil as the meeting progressed. Proctor, Gathercole and Reade can all do better especialy the two formers. -
Good opening meeting against a tough looking devils side. No practice last weekend means this will be the first the riders take to the track this season. All of the plymouth riders have ridden the track more than once so will know the track. This will be a tough meeting for both sides but will be a good warm up. Rebels: doyle, davies, grajczonek, newman, morris, perry and nielsen Devils: proctor, schramm, lemon, gathercole, kling, kurtz, reade
