Just a bit of fun regardless of what happens what are your views on the season: Team? Season review (own team)? Best meeting? Best rider (own team)? Best overall team? Weakest overall team? Best visitors to your track? Weakest visitors to your track? Best rider seen at your track? Best fans to visit your track? Worst fans to visit your track?

You can still win the 'we love you trophy' from Somerset if you win tonight

Somerset: terrific season regardless of what happens now. Considering the controversy surrounding the club at the start of the season.

Don't forget the referee on Friday was a complete disgrace which influenced the result. In terms of this result though I hope Garry gives them a hiding because it is unacceptable to go from 10 in front to lose by 11 and your captain to score 0. -

The referee was an absolute disgrace tonight. Jensen gets a flier in heat 14 when he has been pulling them back all night yet lets him go absurd. Then just before that Katajisto is within the 2 minutes how? Even if he forgot to put the two minutes signal on thats his fault. All the riders were at the start believing this to be the original two minutes. Finally heat 15 and Jensen disgusting when riders do that goes down and stays down just to keep a 3-3. Speedway is supposed to be a gentlemans game. Stays down and then gets up as soon as the red light goes on. Ok rules are rules but can be bent especially in cases of fiddling the result as Jensen was obviously doing. -

Well done to Ronnie Allan tonight.... oh sorry I mean Plymouth. Sorry about the mistake but I thought for a minute that Allan was on the Devils side ridiculous referee and has cost us a point. -

Ridiculous really is: Morris over Summers Blackbird over Todd Kurtz Brady over Dryml Ulrich equal to Aspergren Allen over Bjerre Wright over Jacobs Starke equal to Greenwood -

Impressive win for the Rebels and better than I thought. Plymouth looked better second half but still no challenge for the Rebels. Worrall: pick of the bunch for me. Bad first race but got a deserved 15 points. Benko: again started badly but got better, unlucky fall in heat 8 meant he lost what would have been a 5-1 to them. Gated in last heat but lost it could be down to injury. Newman: will be a gem at home after a few meetings. In the second half he was the only other Devil, worrall apart, who tried and got a deserved win. Jensen: disappointed witg him tbh I thought he would push on this season. Only second string quality tonight. Simota (or as it sounded samosa): very poor had tussle with Allen in heat 13 but only beat Reade. Reade: very much off the pace and was gifted a point in heat 2. Have to say 5&6 is the heat where Plymouth are vulnerable. Katajisto: good to hear he is ok and will be fit for friday. May have been closer had he not withdrawn but not by much. Morris: different class tonight, no one was going to catch him other than Kurtz beating him. Todd: glad he was riding for us and not against us. Hope he keeps that up for the season although should have been beaten in heat 8. Brady: great first meeting looks a real find. Looks quick And a real trier battling for every point and unlucky to be excluded when imo was a first bend tussle. Pontus: surprised by him, could be a good second string but will find it harder against better opposition. Allen: went about his job as expected from him. Will get better as matches come. Wright: felt for him tonight. Can't say about the exclusion as I never saw it but massive bike trouble and missed out on a third a maybe a win in heat 2. Starke: brilliant from the young lad, deserved his 8 point haul, got better after heat two. Plymouth look weak in the 5&6 position and will look better if Davies comes over. Rebels were good but time will tell as there are way better teams out there. -

No thread about this where are you Devil fans? Morris back for the Rebels, Barker still missing Ritchie Worrall should be a good guest. 1. Ritchie Worrall 2. Roland Benko 3. Kyle Newman 4. Rasmus Jensen 5. Sam Simota 6. Ben Reade 7. Kalle Katajisto 1. Nick Morris 2. Todd Kurtz 3. Brady Kurtz 4. Pontus Aspergren 5. Olly Allen 6. Charles Wright 7. Paul Starke Tight meeting with Rebels coming out on top in the second half as they look a bit stronger. Battles between Wright/ Starke and Katajisto/ Reade to be key. -
So first competitive match and should be a close one with Plymouth having Grajczonek and no Morris. Rebels 1. Anders Mellgren 2. Todd Kurtz 3. Brady Kurtz 4. Pontus Aspergren 5. Olly Allen 6. Charles Wright 7. Paul Starke Devils 1. Josh Grajczonek 2. Roland Benko 3. Kyle Newman 4. Rasmus Jensen 5. Sam Simota 6. Ben Reade 7. Kalle Katajisto

Fine with your first part of the post that is fair enough. The last part is ridiculous though, have time for somerset yet your agreeing with a poster we are disgraceful and hoping we have a dreadful season. Then say you hope Morris leaves us in the lurch. What is your problem with somerset?
-
Rebels fans wanted as many riders from 2013 as possible but circumstances meant that didn't happen. We will still cheer any rider that comes to the tapes, No one knows what has happened at Somerset this close season bar the management so keyboard warriors, stop commenting on things you know nothing about. As for bad mouthing us your welcome to come down to the oak tree and do it instead of behind a screen.

Oh dear i see there are some sour grapes from people out there especially Taylorj. PA-THE-TIC - that's all i can say. Read the reason behind the whole Proctor/ Morris situation and Brady situation rather than guessing which is what you all are doing. One other thing stop being obsessive about the Rebels and focus on the faults of your own clubs!!!!

After reading some of the banter between Glasgow and Edinburgh, it got me thinking what other rivalries are there in British speedway? Who? and why? Bit of fun before the season starts. My team Somerset is obviously Plymouth just purely for south west pride in the premier.
-
I can't see any news about this, where are people getting this from?
-
Does no one actualy care that he has a british heritage. Todd came in on a 3.00 and rides in the aussie championships and as was stated he was originally signed last season.
-
Oh dear some people have woke up on the wrong side of bed. Considering it is a so called "rubbish side", sure is a lot of sour grapes that we have rightfully obtained a rider with a great potential. (Other aussie riders have come in on a 3.00 before). All in all a good side not like last season but definitely good.
