  1. We had this last year with Poole where only Watt and Gomolski rode and now again with Morris. As a Rebel fan I feel let down by this.
  2. Good solid signing, I wouldn't expect him to raise or lower his average by much but solid all the same.
  3. So does this mean Somerset now have priority over him this season? Seeing as it would have been the Brummies before having held him as an asset.
  4. What about the rest of the lads? Was Tungate there?
  5. As a Somerset fan all I can say is it would have been very disappointing if Doyle and Morris hadn't been there. I am however disappointed, Doyle especially, agreed to it in the first place, seeing as he still is Mr. Somerset to us.
  6. It's that time where i think we should start predicting. Mine would be: Sheffield Glasgow Somerset Newcastle Edinburgh Peterborough Ipswich Plymouth Workington (without Proctor) Scunthorpe Berwick Rye House Redcar
  7. Wrong choice of word on my part to be honest. To be fair he is a lot better than our previous no.7.
  8. He has scored well once or twice away from home but not regulary. As last night showed if brady has an off night we need Ritchie to come to the fore and he doesn't.
  9. Kurtz had an off- night and seriously needs to learn about team riding and not being so reckless. Grajczonek, Wright and Starke to be honest rode well and mixed it with the monarchs. Greenwood was poor in heat two but after that had two hard heats, so a bit unfair to count those two heats. Worrall and Lanham were diabolical and have been for a while (apart from the odd meeting). Think they need replacing if we are to stand a chance in the play-offs. Monarchs, nothing really needs saying it was a solid performance and deserved the victory.
  10. It will be tight, premier matches always are on sky .
  11. Good news about Kyle, its about time the BSPA realised the dangers at the moment. As for those abusing Josh, simple, get on a bike and see how they get on. He is obviously going to be devastated and probably wondering about his future in the sport right now.
  12. One person commented on it and your both sick. Josh was broken after last sunday. Kyle is his best mate why would he mean it. Brady just needs to settle down abit.
  13. Rebels take a makeshift Tigers side with two guests and a R/R. 1. B. Kurtz 2. L. Lanham 3. C. Wright 4. R. Worrall 5. J. Grajczonek 6. P. Starke 7. O. Greenwood 1. R/R 2. J. Searjant 3. A. Summers 4. T. Jorgensen (G) 5. R. Lawson 6. (G) 7. V. Palovaara May not be correct riding order. Should be close- ish but Rebels to come out on top.
  14. To be honest I am fairly happy with the point from this. Its the same as Edinburgh got there and we lost unbeaten Wrighty and obviously an ilegal ride along the way. Credit where it is due Redcar came back at us.
  15. Even though the somerset mangement went on the averages given to them via the referee. So at that time had no idea it was Ilegal. It was only when they found out they protested. I don't mind getting just the one point but what message is this sending out.
  16. Wasn't going to comment on this and take a backseat but I can't believe much debate there is for something that is plainly simple. Redcar cheated - are you telling me they didn't know the averages of their own team. Therefore gave wrongful information for their own benefit. Referee - made a mistake and went off the averages via the programme and did not cross check - as stated in the SCB statement. Somerset - Agreed before but agreed to the averages given from the referee. Would not have found out until later in the meeting and protested as soon as they could. Thats my veiw of it all and think it makes sense.
  17. I forgot your oblivious to any rider not from workington and you don't get the concept of nicknames. Didn't mean to put this again. Phone playing up
  18. I forgot your oblivious to any rider not from workington and you don't get the concept of nicknames.
  19. Think we will run you close if Starkey has a good meeting. The top 5 are more than a match for the witches but Benji is struggling and that is our downfall at the moment.
  20. That was bad luck to be honest. He was flying but he looked sluggish compared to his old self.
  21. He didn't seem quick enough though for a no.1. Even on his first bike, he seemed a bit sluggish against the top pairing.
  22. Good win for the Rebels, some good racing: Grajczonek: started really well and has definitely defied his doubters. Lanham: achieved his average so can't complain. Worrall: one bad gate which nearly led to a 1-5 otherwise rode well. Wright: see above. Still have my doubts about these two riding together. Kurtz: faultless, his ride in heat 15 was amazing. Starke: scored well and rode well but more challenges will come. Compton: feel for the lad, he tries so hard and the fans can see that. Fisher: couldn't get going all night. Showed his bad luck by blowing an engine. Harrison: one great gate and win otherwise not great. Holder: two bad races two ok races. First british meeting in anger. Simota: one good race then not troubling for the rest. Risager: devils best rider and almost dented brady's maximum. Chapman: off the pace and doesn't look ready for premier league. Nielson: only really beating compton and one was a gift.
  23. Going for a Rebels win. Will be hard with no wrighty but we still have some Rye specialists.
