Same as every team this season, if others use 2-3 reserves then we can use one too (greaves would probably be at Wolves) but if they don't would have to take out Lawson or Wright and bring in a stronger reserve ie Newman.

Does the 2.5% reduction still apply for Bewley and Smith?

Rest Of The World Riders

Irversen may choose Denmark and Poland, Poole have dropped Janowski as a potential no. 1, Hancock could come over alongside Sweden. -
Haven't said that I don't get why it's a stupid rule, infact the opposite, i have said I disagree with the rule. It does stunt some of those riders who have given their all. In all honesty though that happens every season as it happened to our riders when we had a 5 year run of success before moving up. I am however disagreeing with some people who say it devoids the league of talent when really that is far from true.
-
Seven riders were above 8.00 last season in a weakened league, so not that many who went flat out anyway in all honesty. If Morris and Thorsell are good enough they will be picked up by Rye, Rebels or KL if not still plenty of talent. Anyway more chance of some British riders getting a chance which for me is better. Each to their own though.
-
So 7 riders finish above 8.00 average, Cook, Doyle and Lindgren will probably be back at Belle Vue, Swindon and Wolves respectively. Vaculik is Leicester no. 1 as should have an 8.00 average. Kurtz should be back at Poole leaving Thorsell and Morris, personally think Bjerre will be loyal to Denmark as will Andersen. So bar the 8.00 GP riders and Danish riders there are still some decent riders who could ride here next season. Don't agree with the rule but not as such a disaster as people are making out.
-
Would probably be BWD unless Swindon offer a large amount for his services. Plus I honestly can't see Grajczonek back next season nor maybe Allen, depends on who upset the promotion at the end of season disco. Lawson and Wright were riding and injured respectively.
-
People questioning about Morris but he had a really good season for Swindon last season and achieved a high average. I think a lot of Rebel fans would love him back, finished 3rd in the averages last season behind Doyle and Lindgren.
-
Didn't know that rule personally as I said but also as has been said that rules out Rye House and Leicester, so much for the cheating theory. Had it done to us plenty of times, infact we have been in the same boat as Swindon with Doyle and Morris. We had it done to us for five years in a row because we had a success run, as has also been said.
-
Why did BV have no vote? I personally haven't seen anything about them not having a vote. My point still stands is it cheating when clubs have their own interests at heart in a legal way? I don't see either how we are being devoid of talent when Vaculik and possibly NKI is coming back to KL and Somerset and Rye House still left with options for a 8.00 rider and only BV, Swindon and Wolverhampton losing an 8.00 or above rider and an increase to the average. Not saying I agree with the ruling but don't see how it devoids talent when it looks probable top riders are coming back.
-
How about Thorsell? If Lindgren is back at Wolves.
-
Going by what Leicester have said it's Monday and one other day which isn't known yet.
-
NKI would be a fantastic signing, or maybe someone like Lebedevs. Also what do people think of potentially riding monday and another day?
-
Charles Wright Bradley Wilson Dean Richard Lawson Start with those three would be an excellent start plus a proper no.1, reserve and third heat leader and a second string. Think it will be a massive change next season if the riders were refusing to go to the presentation night (wright was injured and Lawson was riding)
-
Where has this come from? Would be a good signing but as a 2nd heat leader
-
More of a dig at the fans tbh calling us moaners and basically saying fans can't be bothered. Well I would like to see how many people bother to help her when she asks for help and for the volunteers on at a meeting. Probably forgot the amount of times fans came to her aid and what we have done even before she was even promoter. If she wants to say fans don't bother like she has in the statement she is truly misinformed and needs to research her history.
-
I know she is frustrated but should not be talking to the fans like she did in that press release. It's beyond unprofessional as someone else said you wouldn't expect a statement like that from anyone else. Plus the bit about meaningless meetings is beyond a joke too. I'm pretty sure Debbie would wish her riders to ride for her if we had a meeting running over. The rider is contracted to that club are they not. Putting statements out like that will cause riders to not want to ride for us and fans to leave.
-
Massively unprofessional, especially as they were the ones who cancelled the first presentation night anyway and can't expect everyone to be available for the replacement night. One thing I will agree with though is it's wrong that some riders want to be paid to attend and should never ride for Somerset again imo.
-
Nice to see fans are getting blasted for not going to the presentation night yet have attended all season. Will lose a lot of support being spoken to like that.
-
What average would Killer be? If as expected some riders give Sweden a miss next season (what's going on there anyway?) haven't seen the reports.
-
I don't like him but still wouldn't stop me having him in my team.
-
He'll either be at Poole or not in Britain at all imo.
-
Won't be able to have Allen and BWD at reserve and a big no. 1 as you're looking at 9.74 just for reserves and then like 8 points for a no. 1. Doesn't leave much for the other 4 riders especially to fit Lawson, Grajczonek and Wright as expected.
