Looked like they said it's Ivan's turn to win. On the other hand Knapp has turned into a great racer. Roll on the World Championships! Thanks for the info Pam, explains why he had such a tough meeting. Hope to see him at some point this season.
  2. Agreed. Sanok is throwing up some great racing!

  4. He's not dropped that many points this year Rob, and won the Russian Title despite suffering an engine failure in the Russian Final. He's looking odds on to win 6 World Championships in a row. (So the photo will be an outstretched palm on one hand and a thumbs up on the other ) See you in Assen Rob
  5. Looks like they are doing live updates onThe German Forum I've also sent Jacqueline a text to see if there are any others. I'll Skype you with any others Pam

  7. It looks like Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa has been sold to a developer and the Speedwaycould be under threat. More on this link Costa Mesa has operated Speedway at the OC Fairgrounds for over 40 years and this could be the end
  8. Worked fine for me. Thanks for the link.
  9. Meeting was called off as there was too much snow on the track.
  10. Had a read of that, very interesting. Possibly why Baseev withdrew from the Cup of Russia over the weekend which he may well have won from Drozdov? Great pics of Saalfelden too. Thanks for the link Jesper.
  11. Jacky sent me this: Hej Ian, FIM told us that 5+1 from Saalfelden QF1, 5+1 from Sanok QF2 and 6 from St. Johann QF3 going to the finalseries, BUT.. According to the Art. 074.5: Each FMNR of an FI'M Ice Racing World Championship meeting (Qualifying Rounds, Semi-Finals and Finals) is guaranteed at least one rider from its Federation in this meeting and in all Finals. -Should a rider of the FMNR not be automaticaly qualified for the Final series, then the best placed FMNR rider of the QF will be nominated to participate to the Final series. He will then take the place of the last automaticaly qualified rider in one of the QF (in Rotation QF3, QR1, QR2). - In the case of a Tie between to nono-automaticaly qualified riders from the same FMNR, the CCP Bureau will nominate the rider who will be seeded to the Final series. - After the last QR (next weekend), the FIM will establish the list of the riders who will participate in the final series. Only then, will the entry/participation of the riders for the Final series be confirmed! The top 5 from yesterday are through, Holstein has to wait to see if Stellingwerf gets a top 6 place in Sanok, which means that Simon doesn't know if he's through or not, hence the look of 5+2 from yesterday. If Stellingwerf fails to make the top 6, then Holstein is through and Simon isn't So there you have it - clear as mud!
