Edinburgh stream their meetings but were complaining they had home crowds of under 500 for two matches so maybe streaming does effect the crowd levels -
Glasgow v Scunthorpe CL 19/7/24@7-30pm

He had Complins covers on his own bike -
The CL should be two home and away but most promotors want the number of home meetings kept low as it means they have less chance of losing money as they see every home meeting a s a loss maker so 10 home meetings rather than 20 meetings means less meetings to lose money. An interesting fact is that in the Berwick programme is shows their rider with the most points in a season is David Blackburn in the 1989 season with 575 points from 46 official meetings so a possible 23 home meetings.

I went to Worky last Saturday and must say I loved the visit as this is a trip I had been missing the past few seasons. It is a brilliant looking stadium if I had a minor complaint it is the fact that you cannot move around from the home straight and bends to the back straight and bends without having to go out of the stadium but it is great set up and look forward to seeing it improve as the season go on. -

You do realise this is a Speedway internet forum. As Paulco says it is very much banter and we give and take all season with our friends from the East and anyone else such as Poole fans but mainly Edinburgh Moanarchs fans LOL -

So the reigning Champions from the 2023 season are set to take on the Champions from 9 seasons ago, the last time they won a team trophy, and it looks like they are bottling it already playing the "track is too wet card" -

Both of the stands looked full and it was decent crowd took 20mins to get out of the car park -
Plus you could always get RR for him

Sedgmen will be the Monarchs new No.1 for 2024

I think the biggest issue behind moving up to the PL is racenight. I think Fridays nights work well for a Glasgow crowd with the odd off night when a rescheduled meeting needs run

Is this really a final you would want to brag about. A final 12 months late what was to be a 3 legged final reduced to 2 legs and now a one off meeting against a select team with every chance the weather could turn it into a trick track. Then again it could be your 3rd home final defeat in 4 weeks
