Hello Cyclone remember me one of the former directors who was sacked by the club!!!!!!! I was just having a look at your post above and felt I had to come on here and correct you as once again you have got your facts wrong, now there is a surprise. I did see the photo that Dimitri posted of his kit waiting to be picked up by his mate but the picture was not taken out side his lodgings it was taken out side of the workshop he was using in Hawthorn Street if it had been taken out side his lodgings you would have seen a very nice Victorian sandstone villa in the G14 Kelvinside area of the West end of Glasgow. Which if you asked Phil Spencer he would tell you it is a very desirable area of Glasgow.

So everyone is putting this result down to Edinburgh's first match but if you add up who many meetings each rider has raced in 2016 I think you will find the Edinburgh have had more meetings that the Glasgow ones.

So Cyclone I thought I would reply to your post to state the truth direct from Snapper's mouth rather than the BS you have posted. Last year was always going to be a learning curve for the new owners and they left the club management roles as they were as they looked at all aspects of the club to see what worked and what didn't. At the end of the season they then met with each director to discuss their plans for 2016 and the future, part of this discussion was that each of the directors stood down from their position and so removed the financial responsibility hanging over our heads ( my wife was very pleased with this change) and then joined the Tigers management team. At no time during my meeting in November do I remember being given "the bullet" infact Gerry was very pleased with my performance during 2015. So I would suggest you remove your offending and factually incorrect post before "lettera procurators legal" arrive. But just to cover myself to make sure that I have got my facts correct as the meeting was 4 months ago I will ask Gerry for his recollections tomorrow night when we are out for dinner and if I have got any of my facts wrong I will come back on and correct them. Going to be a strange one as in the club PR they say the owners have become good supporters of the speedway so you think the club would want to support the application by the owners but if it goes through they have basically signed their own eviction order when a offer from a house builder is made to the the stadium owners. I would hope that the club had a plan B in place for a new location hopefully nearer Edinburgh maybe they had a private chat with the council during the civic reception last month.

So does this mean that the Monarchs fully support the change in planning conditions or will they be asking the fans to object to it, interesting situation for all parties

Point 3 is understandable i would not like to travel to Armadale on a Friday night it would freeze your bits off when you get there

I don't normally post on here an these are my views and not of the club. I noticed tonight that there was a comment that one of the posters feels that me and my fellow directors are on an ego trip. Don't think that I agree with this as being a director of the club is a bit like having a second job but the difference is that this one does not pay in fact it costs and for some of us it is also a 7 day a week job. Also there was another comment that why do we need so many, we have 5 directors a quick look at other clubs sees Newcastle - 4, Edinburgh - 8, Berwick - 3 and Workington - 3 so not all that different from other clubs also more people means more hands to do the work. Just my tuppence worth
