At the start of the season the two Monarchs reserves were looking to be a bit of trump card but it has not turned out this way Matt looked shocking in both meetings and with two newbies in the 1-5 the reserves do need to step up. Its not all about the money many of the marketing stuff that we do cost nothing just time from a hard working Social Media team. Dead easy to say we don't have the money to do all that and then sit back and do nothing. Even last nights event was funded by the GTSG not the club and after covering all the expenses including flying riders and their partners to Glasgow and putting them up in hotels the GTSG made a profit

I don't think there will have been many folk in the pits last night that did not realise what was happening and ended with the meeting being abandoned. I totally understand the concerns for riders health and I find it strange that an ambulance was not called sooner to take the injured parties to hospital.

The thing is with the state of The Lothian Arena The Scotwaste Arena The Boarder Roofing Bowl you could drop a bomb on it and it would be an improvement

Before the meeting started the Edinburgh boys were all lined up ready for the parade and Dan walked passed them to get something from his van and Sam shouted over "Hey Dan do you remember us" I think Dan can return the compliment now and say "Hey boys do you remember me, paid maximum"

What a night it was last night yes a lot of the hard work was done on Sunday night but the Tigers riders were well up for the cup. hats off to Robert Lambert can't believe he is not on a 9 point average. Also thebattle between Richie And Steve in Heat 13 for third place was unbelievable and Aaron and Richard's ride in Heat 15 when the meeting was already finished. So glad for the Facenna's and hopefully this is the first of many more great meetings at Ashfield
