  1. sadly orion the whole SGP/SWC stopped becoming about speedway first an awful long time ago. Some of the GP's and the other SWC events happen to produce good speedway but I suspect that would have little to do with whether BSI considered them a good event or not If ever proof were needed what mattered you only have to look at the Gothenburg evwnt to know that speedway and its fans were lower than a snakes belly in the priority list there. Money came so far at the top its not true
  2. I agree, get ris of the joker To see the ridiculous site in Heat 23 of Davey Watt deliberately coming last was crazy. In fact it should have been worse because Kasprazak really should have slowed and let the Swede through leaving Poland 5 up with two to go instead of 6 up and allowing an Aussie joker Now that would have been a farce. Terrific racing all night and then the danger of riders chucking away points. That is enough to get rid of it As for the rest of the format..............no problem with it. If Poland produces racing and anm atmosphere like that then let them have the meeting, was there any comparison with the dross served up on Monday night in comparison
  3. But responsibel for only arguably one of them (and that is where opinion was split last night). They were certainly on the end of a fair bit of bad luck last night
  4. Well he kept falling off all on his own with no-one anywhere near him Sadly he really is not the force he once was, which to some extent sums up GB as a speedway force
  5. I agree with that. This is the guy that wasn't there tonight because he can't be bothered/can't make enough money (delete as appropriate) to ride for the country of his birth Shouldn't represent GB again IMO
  6. Was he not ahead though. Harris took a chance and got off and in fairness he got the call. As I said it could have gone either way, to suggest it is dangerous riding is bonkers Maybe a track that the onlt fast line wasn't a foot from the fence would help, two riders into a foot will never go
  7. Was that just two guys passing and re-passing. Not sure I understand why when Lukas overtakes its trying to kill Harris nad Harris passes its OK Good hard racing, is that not what speedway is about ?
  8. Could have gone either way but no need at all for the GB boys to get involved, on the basis that Woffinden thinks that clattering into someone is OK he surely couldn't have seen anything wrong. First decent bit of racing for ages though with two guys going at it
  9. Different expectations I suspect, I guess they didn't expect to be competitive. This is a GB team that really should be a lot closer and just look a bit all over the place in so many ways
  10. Its Ales' first meeting back after puncturing a lung and having surgery on his shoulder in May, he was supposed to out for 2 months so this is an early comeback...................and he lands on his shoulder !!
  11. OK so I will be accused of Czech bias but that was a dangerous move by Woffinden, the kind of move that Lukas for would crucified for. For Louis to say he went down easily is crazy, it was a silly move from Woffinden (not that he thought though clearly) which he didn't need to do as he had the pace The GB boys seem to have no composure, time for the Team Manager to earn his corn because he needs to have a word and focus them on the job in hand.
  12. All about opinion but my comment is a fact ! Hope they do well but lets sweep it all under the carpet eh ?
  13. And now we have to listen to Keith Huewen going on about national pride when talking abouit the Brits who struggled to make up their mind whether to bother riding for their country or not
  14. At least the riders all want to ride and appear to be proud to ride for their country. Team GB had riders who struggled to decide whether to ride because they couldn't have their own sponsors on racesuits, Russian's want to be paid and the Poles aren't always Poles at all Oh the pride for riding for your country
  15. Really ? Pedersen gave him a slight nudge but boy did he go wide and for someone with the bike skills that he very clearly has then I found that very suprising. Personally having had the benefits of dozens of replays I would have said thta if anyone should go it would have been Holder Just an opinion
  16. Amazingly enough Pedersen's job was to win. Now I am no fan but tonight he did nothing wrong.....................apart from not win the final because as much as I dislike him 14/1 was too good to turn down
  17. Oh I don't know, at least I had a fiver on Greg at 10/1 so it wasn't all bad Mind you I had a fiver On Kolodziej at 25/1 too but less said the better
  18. Utter and totally typical disgrace from these people who will bleed speedway at any opportunity For your £2.99 you get NOTHING that you can use on GP night. If you want the draw its $0.99 per GP or $9.99 for the season. As said this is NOT mentioned until you have already spent your £2.99 Don't bother I was a critic of Snowfunk but I apologise as this was great value compared to the BSI rip off
  19. I remember there was some comment about them being poor last year and a commitment that it would get sorted Went to the Millennium today and both screens are brand new and very impressive in terms of picture quality
  20. You are correct Craig in that it is a choice as to whether to use it. I guess my questions would centre around a couple of things 1. The vast majority of apps for iPhone you pay for and they are yours, there is not an ongoing annual subscription . You sight Kandysoft as an example but those are a one of charge 2. Why not just charge in the first place rather than put it out there free, get people using it and then introduce an annual price 3. Why has the SGP branding disappeared.............was it that if you charged some would have to go to them ? Just be interested in your thoughts Its a great app but doesn't do much that other non paying media can do for you
  21. I used it last year as it was a freebie app and pretty useful A shame to see it now being charged for so I am another who won't be bothering, charging per season is taking the mickey Never mind, survived without it before and will do again Be interesting to know why the SGP branding has all gone, sounds liek the greedy gits running the GP series also wanted their cut maybe !
  22. Matej Kus is the new Czech Champion after scoring 13 points at Prague tonight to finish 1 ahead of Lukas Dryml who recorded a maximum on the night. Lukas finished 2nd in the series with Hynek Stichauer beating Ales Dryml in a run off for 3rd
