Berwick V Glasgow Tigers (27 July - Pl)
Rider Replacement replied to luluthetiger's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Nah, he's not rolling! He's stretching his legs LOL Hey partner, you know what time it is - Rollin, Rollin, Rollin :-) -
No explanation needed David, I've watched you and raced against you for many years, and although you're in another league from my own capabilities, I feel safe racing against you. As you say it was an error of judgement, moved out onto the dirt, the dirt on Friday seemed more inconsistent than usual. Don't let the keyboard warriors get at you, top rider, top bloke.

Lions V Rebels 22.06.2013

Just got home from the meeting, I'm neither a Leicester or Somerset fan and as a neutral it was a fantastic meeting, it had it all, hard racing, unfortunate crashes and injuries, luck, bad luck, the lot. And I have to say Somerset deserved the win, yet Magnus was harshly excluded. But above all, I know that My Hemsley runs the show, and yes he must have been upset by the loss by one solitary point but going ape at the riders isn't the answer, and his bullish manner in which he raced along the terraces barging people out of the way leaves a lot to be desired. My advice to Mr Hemsley is be magnanimous is victory and defeat, otherwise you will run out of options with riders and fans will not tolerate your bullish behavior. Other than a well run meeting given the crashes, hope all the injured riders cone back strong. -

Hennings season ended through an injury, he hasn't had any time to get race fit, which is different to just being fit, also his engines aren't working, which are set up identical to last season's engines. He's working hard on getting something to work engine wise. After every race he is changing something trying hard to get the performance out of the engine. Give him a little time, he'll come good I'm sure. -

Sorry if this has been asked previously, is there any live updates? Been called into work so regrettably I'm having to miss my first meeting @home :-( -
Basically Glasgow have not been paid for Morris after agreeing a deal last season.
-
Its all sorted now thank you.
-
Hi I'm after a steel shoe size 44 and a UK set of helmet colours please. Doesn't have to be nee but in reasonable condition. Thank you
-
Hi how much are you wanting to pay, as I know of a VW transporter, spotless
-
Uh, uh, uh can't touch me! Every case is lõõked upon and based on individual merits, no under handed methods and complete transparency. Heathy paranoia is a good thing ;-)
-
Well there is that too. Obviously the management know more than the supporters, which is ok and hey, worth trying my worry is the lack of British riders, some experienced riders have been overlooked and the new talented riders are not being given the chances.
-
Come on boys & girls, lets leave the mud slinging @home! I think its a shame for the new regime @Glasgow however, with the decreasing opportunities for British riders, maybe this is a blessing. I personally think that if more clubs looked after the young British riders then perhaps the sport would flourish more. If they don't do something British speedway @all levels will become a laughing stock.

Wanted - Dirt Deflector Complete - Wanted
Rider Replacement replied to Rider Replacement's topic in Riding Equipment
That's ace, thank you. Can you pm your details and I'll call you back if that's ok? -
I'm after a dirt deflector complete, not too concerned of make as long as its useable and safe, oh and NOT a copy. Cash waiting :-)
-
I do say the team is a right ol' mix, but a refreshing one at that. Experience, midlle order will be strong, reserved will be helped by the younger members of the team. I'm for one is lõõking forward to Glasgow this season. Do think Charles Wright deserves his chance, the lad is committed to racing always wants to have a go and willing to muck in in the pits. Anyway, let's see what Santa brings us hey? Merry Christmas and a happy and cheerful hogmany to one and all. Let's hope and pray that the weather, is kind and all riders, racers, officials and supporters have a safe and prosperous 2013. MON THE TIGERS!

Ok so Royno races every lap like its a grand prix final, and what's wrong with that? I would rather have an out and out racer in any team than a two lap wonder. He knows that one more serious knock and its game over, he is the rider on the bike, he judges the race and whether its worth the risk of going for the gaps or not. I'm pretty sure he'll achieve a lot a Leicester, both personally and for the team. Me thinks exciting times ahead!! Ps- good to see Jari is fixed up @Ipswich -
Yeah I agree too, upsets me that after following speedway for 42 years, the state of British speedway is at its lowest ebb since I can remember. We have no championship fighters.
-
Yeah these Aussie kids are good, but I'm sorry we have home grown talent sitting around not able to get a team place or the valued experience to gain any advantage, shocking really. But hey someone somewhere obviously has a say within British speedway as to why the Aussies get the nod? I'm afraid it'll never happen again that we see the likes of a up and coming Screen, Loram, Louis, Rico RIP, Dugard sad state of affairs really. Hey Ho, onwards and upwards.
-
Ok, so we have 3 confirmed starters, albeit I've not actually seen or heard that Hennings coming back? But there are 4 other riders spots to fill. We are just surmising on the remaining spots, come on get behind the guys and gals who I'm sure are working tirelessly to make Glasgow Tigers not only a force to be reckoned with, but a team, stadium, and set up to be proud of! "MON THE TIGERS!"
-
Deffo think Charles Wright should be in the team, always committed 100% trier and I say I do like the way the team is shaping up, is Henning a confirmed starter? MON THE TIGERS!
-
I agree re James, and I feel James needs track time and decent equipment to progress. You can have the fastest engine but if you cannot ride it, its pointless. Would be good to have a home grown talent instead of a unknown. One thing in James' favour he's keen. MON THE TIGERS!
