Seems to be more than hard riding though. Nicki is no angel, and right gets called out for it. Team Monster are getting very nasty, intimidation of Nicki post races (which I am sure he can deal with) but throwing punches and intimidation from Team Monster seems to be acceptable to many, which is why they keep getting away with it.

Not evil, just not the Mr Nice Guy the speedway community seem to think he is.

Nobody is doubting his on track longevity, but maybe people have seen beyond the 'grin' this season with his attack on Nicki and off track statement etc, etc.

It seems to me since HanCOCK's cowardly thuggery on Nicki earlier in the season it's been open season on Nicki. It's ok for them to ride hard on Nicki, but the moment Nicki hard rides anyone else they are having a go at him and I place the blame firmly at HanCOCK and the speedway authorities for not punishing Hancock for his actions at the time. I appreciate the Hancock lovers on here will disagree with me and I will be a lone voice, but there seems to be something of a bullying culture developing against Nicki.

Me too, the way Team Monster have been critical of him since Greg lived up to his COCK name is pathetic, so I hope NP does take that silver. Team Monster can dish out hard racing, but can't take it. I am also pleased that Tai won his crown in Europe for his European fans. I still think it is wrong that for the next few years most European fans wont get an opportunity to see their World Champion being crowned in Europe. I don't begrudge the Aussie GP getting the finale, but I do begrudge the fact they get the finale for the next few seasons.

Oh don't be silly, paying supporters don't matter, did you not know that by now!!!! I jest, I agree, it should be about what the thousands of supporters want, not the 16 riders, but fans are fickle, it's a day out for them more than the quality of racing I suspect.

Amazing, give the riders a 'real' race track and we get speedway RACING not just boring speedway 'riding' like we get at most of the temp tracks.

Sort of missing the point, but then again you usually do. You are being sarcastic, but it might be better racing than we usually get at Cardiff, shame there is no track at Long Eaton any more.

I could not care less if the riders like a nice posh stadium. If the racing is not there then fans will eventually stop going and stop watching. Big stage will soon become a small stage if the quality of the racing is not there. Long Eaton was an awful stadium, but we had a great shape of a race track that produced great racing, which is where I became a fan of speedway RACING. The same with the likes of Peterborough, not a brilliant stadium but always great racing. If the GP is designed to give the riders a big pay day fine, the speedway press should tell us. But if the speedway press truly represent the fans then they should report what the fans want which is great speedway RACING as opposed to speedway riding in a nice stadium. As for the top 3, well team Monster have shown all season that the likes of HanCOCK and Woffinden are like one voice, neither will rock the boat with each other, they all stick together like glue, their words against Niki another example of that.

What a crap night of racing... again on a temp track. Oh well, Mr Rising will tell us it's ok because the nice stadium is all that matters.

If it is true then don't expect Poole fans to do anything other than defend Poole's actions, even if the above is true. Remember with all the scrapes Ward got himself into, most Poole fans somehow found a way to defend the indefensible.

Yes scrap them. Said it all along, a season long campaign should not be decided by the lottery of a couple of meetings at the end of the season. It means the team that worked the hardest all season long will not necessarily be rewarded, especially if one of the play off teams cheats to manipulate better riders for those final meetings.

You are kidding me right? Funny how they only cheered when Harris fell! I have seen some amazing excuses on here to excuse the bad behaviour of Poole club/riders/fans on the forum, but this one is the best yet. You must be either a) naïve. stupid. c) think we are all stupid? Yes it does. But then again only the stupid morons would fail to see that.
