  1. You condone the way Hancock attacked Nicki on and off the track then? The Aussies in that final GP seemed to be Team Aussie v Nicki, the Aussie ride hard (too hard sometimes) yet Nicki is not allowed to. Karma is irrelevant, there is something of a bullying culture against Nicki and I firmly blame HanCOCK for creating it with his cowardly flying assault on track and pathetic off track website statements.
  2. They're still bollocks though. At least F1 had the common sense to scrap the final race double points.
  3. And? We are supposed to be a sport, the World Cup is supposed to be the best of the best. If I am paying £X I want to see the best of the best.
  4. I think it is brilliant news and fantastic for Belle Vue, and great that Team GB will be in the final. However, I have to be consistent and say the same thing I have said each of the last two years that the home nation should NOT be seeded to the final. It means it is no longer a sporting spectacle if a nation is seeded without qualifying.
  5. Before you start all calling Robert a troll, is what he claims fact or fiction? If Fact then Robert is right, someone needs to have a quiet word with Tai.
  6. And? The point I am saying is rider are happy to do it to Nicki (and other riders) but the moment Nicki does it to them they start lashing out.
  7. And when other riders take his line by flicking their back wheel? Their indiscretions get glossed over don't they!
  8. Not sure if posted anywhere else, but I could not see it. From the SGP site. Australian champion Jason Doyle is in a stable condition in Royal Melbourne Hospital after a dramatic crash in the DON Smallgoods Australian SGP final on Saturday night. The Newcastle-born racer tangled with Greg Hancock going into bend one after both made superb starts. Doyle crashed hard and was briefly knocked unconscious. He was treated at the Etihad Stadium by the RACESAFE Medical Team, before being transported to Royal Melbourne Hospital for further treatment. RACESAFE chief medical officer, Dr Greg Harris, said: “I can report that Jason is awake, alert and in a stable condition. “As a result of the crash, he has sustained neck and chest injuries, which are stable. He will receive continued care over the coming days. He is in good spirits.” BSI Speedway, Etihad Stadium and Motorcycling Australia wish the new world No.5 a speedy recovery.
  9. I am glad you said that, I know Tai hurt himself which is why I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and I assume and hope he was not playing games, but the way he went down at the time my immediate thought was he is doing his mate Holder a big favour there.
  10. Seems to be more than hard riding though. Nicki is no angel, and right gets called out for it. Team Monster are getting very nasty, intimidation of Nicki post races (which I am sure he can deal with) but throwing punches and intimidation from Team Monster seems to be acceptable to many, which is why they keep getting away with it.
  11. Not evil, just not the Mr Nice Guy the speedway community seem to think he is.
  12. Nobody is doubting his on track longevity, but maybe people have seen beyond the 'grin' this season with his attack on Nicki and off track statement etc, etc.
  13. What about the race he was leading and was excluded? Moving on.. Any news on Doyle?
  14. Indeed, then again I have never resorted to making cracks about the colour of a person's skin.
  15. Exactly. They would have blamed him, regardless of him being the rider in red or white.
  16. It seems to me since HanCOCK's cowardly thuggery on Nicki earlier in the season it's been open season on Nicki. It's ok for them to ride hard on Nicki, but the moment Nicki hard rides anyone else they are having a go at him and I place the blame firmly at HanCOCK and the speedway authorities for not punishing Hancock for his actions at the time. I appreciate the Hancock lovers on here will disagree with me and I will be a lone voice, but there seems to be something of a bullying culture developing against Nicki.
  17. Good, no screaming shouting suck-up moron running the coverage... and I don't mean Tatum.
  18. Me too, the way Team Monster have been critical of him since Greg lived up to his COCK name is pathetic, so I hope NP does take that silver. Team Monster can dish out hard racing, but can't take it. I am also pleased that Tai won his crown in Europe for his European fans. I still think it is wrong that for the next few years most European fans wont get an opportunity to see their World Champion being crowned in Europe. I don't begrudge the Aussie GP getting the finale, but I do begrudge the fact they get the finale for the next few seasons.
  19. Who needs advertising provided the riders have a nice stadium to get changed in and ride around.
  20. Oh don't be silly, paying supporters don't matter, did you not know that by now!!!! I jest, I agree, it should be about what the thousands of supporters want, not the 16 riders, but fans are fickle, it's a day out for them more than the quality of racing I suspect.
  21. Amazing, give the riders a 'real' race track and we get speedway RACING not just boring speedway 'riding' like we get at most of the temp tracks.
  22. Pearson making himself look silly again by not knowing the rulebook.
  23. Oh the irony..... Muddlo accusing others of playing loose with the rules. Couldn't have happened to a nicer team.
