What an amazing meeting, all those moaning about a wet rain off that is why it was best to postpone. A speedway RACING meeting of the finest order on a dry track. That is why we love speedway, racing out of the top draw, riders throwing bikes at each other with no holds barred. A good example of why we must get a fifth reserve rider back for next season. How we escaped without a rider being injured I don't know, but had it happened it would have ruined an amazing meeting. Sweden worthy winners, although shame it ended with an exclusion for Denmark. I wonder if the Aussies still want to defend Ward, or ask him hard questions about why he was not there with them on track tonight! Nicki was off form tonight, (I wonder if people will have a go at him like they did Harris the other night). Perhaps for Denmark this is another reason not to cede the hosts, they need track time. If the hosts have to be ceded then they must go to the race-off, not the final. Why did Pearson kept going on about every nation having one ride (after 4 races) and two rides (after 8 races)? Fantastic speedway, I just wish every meeting was like this. I can't remember when I have seen racing like that in a long time. Exactly, I waited to watch it tonight, so I stayed off speedway sites and I am so glad I did. Had I wanted to know the result I would have looked online. It's a shame it was not shown live, but understandable with so much great sport on TV this afternoon.

It's choice though. Want it, pay, don't want to pay, don't get. I pay for the full Sky Sports package, yet don't get the big boxing matches which are pay per view. I choose not to pay, which is my personal choice.

Eurosport is not Sky! How much would flying to Denmark cost you? How much would a SWC ticket cost you? Personally being a cheapskate armchair fan I'll wait until 7pm and watch as live.

It was on the red button a few times with Sky... And people still moaned. Be realistic folks, Eurosport and Sky will not drop other popular live sports for speedway. Perhaps it's just bad luck the SWC is on Sunday with so much other live sports on.

So you accuse me of being armchair fan, then when I point out the thousands of miles I've covered watching speedway that's still not sufficient in your book to allow me to have an opinion. I have spent best part of 24 hours travelling on a bus to the last ever World Final in Vojens. I have done a full home and away season following my team for a fair few seasons. So that's your theory out the window. Rain off's happen. And? Polish speedway had months to re-arrange fixtures once BSI announced the dates.

But Polish speedway should have planned for this likelihood. It's Vojens, it rains.

Get a grip! We've all done it, I spent a fair few quid driving up to Edinburgh in glorious sunshine for a ten minute shower to kill the meeting. It's all part of being a speedway fan. It happens.

Get a grip people people. It rained, officials tried to get it on and failed. Always happened in speedway, I dare say always will. Hardly a PR disaster.

Not sure I agree, but if they are then maybe Team GBs performance to push them so close in the race-off is not a bad result after all.

So is it feasible something like this could ever be made available to British kids? Would the new Belle Vue have all week or even 2/3 days track access? Is there a way the BSPA could apply for lottery funding to develop British youngsters?

Well Harris goes down in my estimation then for that, but, is this not the job of a Team Manager to influence a rider (especially with Rosco being a former rider). If Rosco knew he was not on a good engine, he should have used the Tac Sub in a Harris ride.
