  1. So basically you are suggesting he should have suggested he was hoping to get off on a technicality? He got caught out, he should be holding his hands up and now be saying 'I made a mistake and I will accept my punishment'.
  2. Exactly... maybe they should stop listening to the sycophants and start listening to the critics (when fair), and then maybe in Ward's case this would have never happened.
  3. And? Ward was caught, riders at Cardiff haven't been. End of. Time to face his punishment (be that suspended or fixed ban of some kind or just a warning).
  4. Thanks for updating on the Swedish side of things Ghostwalker
  5. I have a question, what do the fans of Ward's Swedish and Polish clubs feel about it all? Are those fans acting as stupid as Poole fans are about it all, and bleating about his innocence too?
  6. I didn't raise a squeak? I am so sorry Starboy, I don't actually spend all day on the forum looking for your posts. I just happened to see that latest post and comment. Your comment 'simple as' seems to suggest it is a factual accuracy, it isn't it is your opinion. Random testing is far more important to catch people out, as appears to be the case here and across other sports. How often do you read of sportsmen and women suddenly have testers turn up at their door? Frequently! What that does is make sure that sportsmen and women are not using between competition, and in the case of speedway random testing at different meetings across the world should ensure riders remain appropriate throughout the week. If a rider knows he will be test every two weeks at a GP he may use substances between GPs but stay sober for a few days prior to a GP. Random testing is far better to 'catch users out'.
  7. This is the kind of stupid moron that follows Darcy, and one of the replies he received to that tweet.
  8. It's our Winter speedway entertainment. It's, a comedy.
  9. Based on what facts? You could turn that around and say that Ward given them more than enough to ensure a long drawn out affair, whatever way you look at it, the person that caused this deserves your blame, not the FIM.
  10. Many of those that have commented really are stupid aren't they, hard to disagree with your description there. All making out the FIM are in the wrong, none pointing out Ward's own actions being the instigator in all of this.
  11. I just took a look at the Ward Twitter page and some of the comments from his last post about it. With the guy surrounded by so many sycophants from manager to fans posting silly messages like this it is no wonder the guy constantly goes wrong.
  12. Taking the Middlo line hey? I blame the idiot who turned up at a World Championship race meeting allegedly over the limit. I got done for speeding at 95mph on the M25 in November (sods law, can't normally move at all on that stretch) and I now face a court hearing, but I am still waiting for the court date leaving me dangling over fines, higher insurance premiums and possible suspension. I can sit here blaming the police and the courts in Kent for making me wait.... or I can sit here and blame myself for being a twit and driving too fast. At the end of the day I was in the wrong, so my fault. The same with Ward, the delays and situation are HIS fault and could have all been avoided.
  13. if someone other than Middlo wrote it, would you still say it is not unprofessional?
  14. He is allowed to state his case, but what he wrote was unprofessional in my opinion, in fact much of his Twitter comments appear to be unprofessional.
  15. What makes you so sure it will be any different THIS time? Middlo mouthing off again on Twitter... and to this this bloke was once the manager of our national team.
  16. Seriously.. are you trying to defend the plank?
  17. Wasted their talent the first thing I think of.
  18. The other common factor is everytime Ward messed up, Middlo would come out with some stupid comment, seemingly defending the undefencable.
  19. So what is he saying there, that testing for alcohol is the right thing to do, but he hopes his mate gets let off?
  20. The more I read and hear from this guy the more I think the Middlo should be changed to Muppet. What he should have typed is 'That bloody stupid Ward for putting us in this position and making us have to wait for so long'.
  21. This is why non Poole fans dislike the Poole Mafia so much. Enough is enough? How about blaming Ward himself for bringing all this on himself and his clubs?
  22. Could Ward take any action though, because by his own admission he had a few drinks, so even if there is a flaw could Ward use that to take legal action? You would like to hope if he did get off on a technicality he would think himself bloody lucky and focus on getting his career back on track.
  23. Fine, but the fact 2,315 support him means idiot all if 4,000 people think he is a total dick for drinking so close to a GP.
